What is roleplaying?: Roleplaying is the act of playing the character of  someone or something

What is metagaming?: Metagaming    is any strategy, action or method used in a game which transcends a prescribed ruleset, uses external factors to affect the game, or goes beyond the supposed limits or environment set by the game. Another definition refers to the game universe outside of the game itself.

What is powergaming?:  Powergaming (or power gaming) is a style of interacting with games or game-like systems, particularly video games, boardgames, and role-playing games, with the aim of maximising progress towards a specific goal, to the exclusion of other considerations such as storytelling, atmosphere and camaraderie.

Biography  (Please make it a decent two paragraphs long. Remember to add server lore, and events that happened to your character so that they don’t contradict history.):

He was born a human not knowing who his parents were. Lost in the mountain tops, he came across some friendly dragons who took him in and cared for him after time he started to look more like a dragon and breathes fire. He was a human with dragon powers! He left his dragon home at the age of 44 to start his quest. During his journey, he met loads of travellers who joined him but then they had to go and fulfil their own destiny. So, Dew was alone for most of his journey. He was stronger than dragons and more caring than a mother. After a while, he was known everywhere but he was so gullible he did not notice until that special day...

 

He was strolling through a town when he was ambushed by bandits. He was knocked out and kidnapped by them. But little did they know, everyone in that town saw and came to help. Firstly the children came to distract the bandits. Then the teenagers came and killed some of the bandits with bows and swords. Finally the adults came, knocked out the rest of the bandits and saved him. He thanked them and vowed that from that day forth he would help them fight against whatever evil throws at them. He will also try and find his parents.

 

Personality Traits: Kind, caring but vicious in battle.

Ambitions: To find out what happened to his real parents and save others from the evil in the world.

Strengths/Talents: Pretty strong, Breathes fire and very good eyesight

Weaknesses/Inabilities: A little gullible / stupid

This application has been denied for the following reasons:

 

• Your metagaming and powergaming definitions are clearly plagiarised. This is against the rules and if you are seen plagiarising again, it will result in a ban from applying.

 

• Dragons are very rare in LotC and they are not particularly friendly. They would not take in a human and raise it as if it was their own.

 

• Your character wouldn't look like a dragon.

 

• Your character cannot breathe fire. You may not known any type of magic when applying.

 

• Bandits and being kidnapped is rather cliche. Think of something more original.

 

• Your biography contains no server lore. Please add some. Look at the link below for some help with this.

• Saving others from the evil in the world is cliche. Please think of a better and more original ambition.

 

• Once again, your character cannot breathe fire so remove that from your strengths.

 

• Add some more weaknesses.

 

• 'Football clothes' is too modernistic for the server.

 

• Your screenshot is really dark but from what I can see, the skin is not suitable as your character cannot look like or be a dragon. Please change this.
