The Erection of Shrines

Many shrines begin to appear once again in the Halfling village of Willow Hollow. A notice is posted upon the village noticeboard:

 

"Greetings Fair Halflings,

 

As many of you may have noticed, there has been construction of many shrines to the gods in the village. Effective immediately is the construction of the golden potato, the shrine to the Potato Lord, Billy Bob. May his taters fill the sky, their glory unknown to Halfling kind.

Two shrines have already appeared around Willow Hollow, they worship the old Halfling gods.

 

One is covered in thick oily sludge and rope, salvaged from the wreck of a ship. Engraved into the shrine is a crude carving of a squid and an engraving that reads, "The Shrine to the Squidlord, Arugula."

 

The second shrine is a giant scarecrow with wings extending outwards. It looks over the fields and bears the engraving, "The Shrine of the Spirit of the Harvest"
