Reagnir was born and raised in Healun'or. The Wood Elves had slaughtered his grandparents during the battle of Leyulin, so Reagnir resented the Wood Elves. His parents wanted vengeance for the death of their family, so they and a small group of ambushed and attacked a small group of Wood Elf soldiers. They were mercilessly slaughtered, the soliders bearing no mark of the very recent squabble between them and their assaulters. Reagnir, being left with no guardian or caretaker, was disliked and resented by the community, them thinking his family being nothing more than traitors. He fled the town, and, not wanting to carry the name of rebellion, renounced his last name. He fled to an Orenian forest, living off the land until the conflict had ended. He gladly came back to a completely new world. He returned to Healun'or and came to realize the people had come to forget his name and the negative implements to it. He was surprised to learn that the new king was a Wood Elf, and he resented his hate for the race. The High Elves and Dark Elves made the threat, and the Wood Elves were just protecting their people. Their was no need to hate them for that. He also figured out his new desire. He wanted to become a powerful Mage, one who could pull a person from the brink of death, or save his friends and loved ones from any dangers that face them. He set off for the Orenian Empire, hoping to find someone to show him the ways of Magic, one who could teach him how to command the unknown. He ventured throughout the Kingdom, looking for a wise and powerful mage. Even during the year of darkness that came about from the eruption of a volcano in 1524, he didn't give up hope.
