How did you find out about Lord of the Craft?: It was suggested to me by a group that I play with.

What is metagaming?: Meta-gaming is the use of OOC information within a RP situation that the information is not actually known by you.

What is power-emoting (power-gaming)?: Power-emoting is the act of forcing RP or acts of RP on a character and not giving him/her a fair chance within the RP situation.

Character’s name: Uther Mulgrim Brimstone

Character’s sex: Male

Character’s race: Cave Dwarf

Character’s age: 111

Biography  (Please make it a decent two paragraphs long. Remember to add three references to the server lore.):

Born in 1444, Uther Brimstone was the son of a wealthy tradesmen and spent most of his young life wandering through the lands of Aegis, Learning the Tradesmen craft. His mother, Elena Brimstone, died during child birth.This caused him to be very distant from his father, who blamed him for her death. Practically raised by the Elves that assisted his father while on the road, he learned to speak and behave in a formal manner. This made him very unpopular amongst most Dwarves and Orcs. From the elves he also became interested in both magic and nature, another trait that is not generally seen in Cave Dwarves.

 

During his hundred and eleven years, Uther experienced many great things and saw many of the people he came to know and love die before his eyes. This caused him to become mentally disturbed and very aggressive towards others. In his sixty-eighth year alive he lost both his father and his Elven friends when the worm/worms attacked Kal'Agnar. His trade caravan was raided by bandits who were looking for loot to take with them on their escape. From this he also lost his left eye and was badly burned. From here he traveled to Kal'Akash where he hoped to start anew and learn the ways of magic that the lands held. The journey took him a year to complete, arriving with many other refugees.

 

In 1522, after the attack on Kal'Akash, Uther decides to join another trade group where he travels for the next 4 years, only to return when he hears of the spreading plague. He now lives in Kal'Akash where he hopes to pursue his old dream of learning magic.

 

 

Personality Traits: Has a bad temper that can flair up at any given moment, has the habit of talking to him self no matter if there are people around or not, Dislikes Orcs, Humans and people who call him by his middle name. Likes all Dwarves and Elves and loves making deals with people. Generally these deals are in his favor.

Ambitions: Wants to become a "Master Tradesmen" and wants to study magic under a great teacher.

Strengths/Talents: Uther has a way with words, making him good at talking himself in and out of situations. He is also a good planner/strategist. He also became good at working with plants and food during his journeys.

Weaknesses/Inabilities: Despite being a dwarf, Uther is not very talented at combat nor is he good at any form of fancy foot work. He is constantly falling over things and has become rather clumsy over the years.

Appearance: 5 foot tall, light tan skin, dark hair, dark eyes and beard. Large burn mark over left side of face, blind in left eye, wears simple leather cloths with a gold wrist guard and shoulder pad on left side.
