1.8 ... The Wandering Wizard is M.I.A.

Hey folks just wanted to make another quick post seeing that 1.8 is hitting tomorrow and will be a proper s*#$ storm. Here’s our gameplan as of now, since Availer hasn’t come back from Libya yet. (Hopefully he’s ok!).

Be sure you have downloaded MUC. (Minecraft Update Controller) @ http://www.ze0s.net/dl/MUC.exe I actually had to make an update to it because I forgot to embed the extracting library, I’ve also loaded up the online database with a bunch of old MC versions.

If you’re on a MAC, this program won’t work as it’s coded in C#. As such, here’s an alternative tool you can use. http://digiex.net/minecraft/dlfiles/mclauncher.dmg and here’s a tutorial for it,

Remember the server won’t INSTANTLY be updated; infact it could be that we don’t update until Tuesday or Wednesday, as I’ll have to update / recode some of our custom plugins to work with the new version of Minecraft. Not to mention I have school and next week is filled with tests and projects ; plus we still will need to wait for bukkit to release an update.

I know I’ve been slacking a bit with skill updates, it’s on my to-do list trust me!

Availer went to go study a bit in Libya for a week 9 days ago, haven’t heard from him since then so we’re not entirely sure what’s up with him, hopefully nothing bad has happened since Libya isn’t the most stable country at the moment. (Not to worry though, the existence of the server won’t be impacted by this.)

Guess we're going to have to use the regular minecraft texture pack until they can update the 1.7 one. <_<

So, For some reason, I ran Terraria in my Steam, and Hey, Magic magic! it fixed my .Net so I can use the M.U.C.! Yay! Maybe something of this sort can help you too Maverik.

I find the 'It'll be okay if Availer is dead anyway...' line of "jokes" and such to be incredibly tasteless and tacky.

Imagine how awful you'd feel if you learned out later on something DID happen. Actually, nevermind. The majority of the folk cracking the jokes might just be like 'lawl I R psychic powa now kk aweasome'.
