What is roleplaying?: Roleplaying is a kind of game in a certain lore. Where you play as a character from that specific lore and create your own storyline.As long as you obey the rules.

What is metagaming?: Metagaming is an out of character action when playing in game character. Example: Gaining knowledge from Out Of Character.

What is power-emoting (powergaming)?: Forcing actions against other players instently, Without giving them an opportunity to react properly.

 

Now you actually make your character - be creative but stay reasonable! Make sure they make sense and that they follow lore. Try to come up with a character that you actually want to play.

Oadox was first born in the Citadel in Haelun'or in Vailor, he was raised just like every other high elf in the the silver state. He is interested in alchemy and the arts of magic and planning on being a scholar. He moved with the fellow high elves to Linsulan and currently resides there. He is a pure elf and adopted the pure way of the high elves.

Once he went to the wood elven realm to trade a few goods, he ran into a band of Orc raiders, he tried to fight back but unfortunately lost the fight and was taken as a slave to the Iron Uzg.
After months of working and slavery, he at last succeeded to escape through the cage and returned to the silver state. At the slave pit and by observing orcs all day long he learnt the way of tough and hard work so he knew how to deal with bandits or with combat later on his life. When he returned to Linsulan he was hapily accepted and began reading lots of magic books and tomes so he will eventually learn the arts of voidal magic.

Personality Traits: (what are your character's quirks?; habits?; likes and dislikes?) Reading books,Exploring nature,Studying alchemy are Oadox's favorite things to do. He likes honesty and truth telling and dislikes lies and false rumores. 

Ambitions: (what does your character aspire to be?) Master the arts of magic.

Strengths/Talents: (what is your character really, really good at?) Oadox is a fast learner,especially in the arts of magic.

 

Weaknesses/Inabilities: (what is a skill that your character needs to work on?) Physical strength.
