What is roleplaying?: Roleplaying is changing of one's behaviour to assume a role, either unconsciously to fill a social role, or consciously to act out an adopted role.

Biography  (Please make it a decent two paragraphs long. Remember to add three references to the server lore.): (where does your character come from?; where have they traveled to?; what year were they born in? et cetera.) Hazel was born in the elven city of Laureh'lin in 1539. As a young child, she grew to love swords, finding one hidden away one day under and old oak tree. She trained in the way of the sword by herself until one day her other, Elena, found her and punished her for not taking up the trade of archery and dryads. Hazel hated the idea of not fighting for what was right but she also didn't want to conform to society. Her mother beat her as a young child, resulting in the scar on her back. When she turned 20, she left her home on a journey to search for a master to train under in the way of the sword. On her journey she came across a human who she formed a bond with. Yet only a week later, the human died due to sickness and injury's. From that day forth, Hazel vowed to avenge her death and carry on her legacy, fighting for humanity.
