How to effectively appeal Warning Points & Forum Bans;

 

 

Note; You should always refer to the LotC Forum Rules thread if you are unsure of the current Forum Expectations.

 

 

 

After one month of its idle state, a Warning Point (or more) can be appealed to the Forum Moderator that issued the same, provided they are still within the Forum Department. Should you not be able to contact the moderator, redirect the same message to current Forum Department Director.

How to effectively appeal a Warning Point (In 5 easy steps!);

 

1. Locate your profile, followed by the Warning Point - Beneath your community reputation.

 

 

 

2. Locate the member of the Forum Department, and the reason for the Warning Point.

 

 

 

3. Click the FM’s profile picture so you are redirected to their profile.

 

 

 

4. Message the same through Forum PMs with the template provided in this guide.

 

 

 

5. Await their response, and be cooperative.

How to effectively appeal a Forum Ban;

 

Note; You should always refer to the LotC Forum Rules thread if you are unsure of the current Forum Expectations.

 

 

Forum Bans always correlate to the LotC server and should be treated, primarily, as a forum ban before an In-Game punishment. These are the harshest forms of castigation any Forum Moderator ever performs and are always discussed within the Forum and Game Departments before being truly acted upon.

1. You may create an Appeal Account, though it can only be used to create appeals. Any further use of this account will result in another Forum Ban and harsher punishment.

 

2. To create a Forum Ban Appeal, you must follow the same format as In-Game bans though instead of appointing a Game Moderator in the title, you must add [Forum Department] and refer to the situation within the appeal. Failure to do this will consequentially decrease the effectiveness of the appeal, and may slow down the process.

 

3. All other LotC rules and regulations apply.
