Character’s name: Vadrian Vidulia

Biography: When Vadrian was but a wee lad, he would be very ignorant of things. His belief was that power only comes from strength and wealth, that the saying "knowledge is power" is only said by the weak so that they can feel good about themselves. But other from that, Vadrian was very well educated (as a commoner could be), and loved his family dearly. He would go fishing with his father, Oritho Vidulia, on Tuesdays and Thursdays, help wash clothes with his mother, Fairuza Vidulia, on Wednesdays, and occupancy them to church on Sundays. Him and his family were Raevir, so it was obvious that they would the Ruskan Orthodoxy, though Vadrian himself was not very religious and only went for his mother and father. His family lived in a small settlement located somewhere in the The Duchy of Kaedrin. He was the only child so he got all of his parents attention, and when he came of age 13, his father taught him how to hunt. While Vadrian was not good at hunting, he loved it and after a couple years, he was a better shot than his father. He lived a happy life, ignorant to the rest of the world until his 15th birthday.

 

On Vadrian's 15th birthday, his family took him to Carrenhall, the Capital of Erochland, to look at all the art that was made by the artisans who worked there. And to buy Vadrian a gift, a new fishing rod and a new crossbow. The day went by smoothly and Vadrian had never seen so many fantastic things in his life. As the day approached to an end, his family walked a back alley way as a "shortcut" to the tavern that they were staying at, but in truth they were lost. Vadrian was asking about what kind of sculpture they saw an hour earlier was when they were halted by a stranger in a cloak. He just stood silently in front of Vadrian and his family when he slowly slid out a long, curved knife. (Beginning of Batman, but in medieval times? O.o) Vadrian's father took lead and grabbed hold of his family and started to run the opposite way but were stopped yet again by three more cloaked assailants. There the assailants rushed in and began to stab the family while checking for any valuables, while Vadrian's Mother and Father protected Vadrian from harm. Crushed under the weight of his now dead parents, Vadrian had no choice but to lie still and his assailants vanished as swiftly as they appeared. After an hour Vadrian was finally able to crawl out from his parent's lifeless corpses and saw his two newly bought gifts crushed on the pavement, probably from the trampling of feet. There Vadrian wept until a trader came by and tried to capture him so he could sell him as a slave. Vadrian ran as fast as he could until he was lost in the city, and finally sat down and wept some more.

 

Years past since then and Vadrian discovered the true power in knowledge, after years of research and listening to conversations, he had found out the identity of the men who killed his parents and where they could be found. Vadrian had lived those few years as a thief and a beggar, but in truth only stayed at the city to have his revenge. And at the age of 20 he finally would get his. At night he crept into the lodging where all four men lived, which was very convenient, and took the long curved dagger from one of the men who was sleeping and slit every one of their throats. After that night, Vadrian saw the power knowledge could bring and wanted to know everything there was to know. No more of the ignorant lad he used to be, he wanted to know everything and to be the main source of information in all of The Isles of Vailor. He wished to be a Spymaster. And now the rest is will begin to unfold as Vadrian begins to try and become the best Spymaster of them all.

 

 

 

Personality Traits: Vadrian likes to gather information, the more valuable the better. And he does not believe in non-valuable information. He also loves to fish and hunt. Vadrian is somewhat closed and tries to keep to himself, but inside he is kind and caring. He does have a dark side to, and a strong hatred to murderers who have no purpose to their killing.

Ambitions: Vadrian wishes to be the main source of information in the Isles of Vailor, and to be a Spymaster of a spy guild.

Strengths/Talents: Vadrian has good eyesight and hearing, and is able to move quickly and softly without being seen. He is also a very good shot with a crossbow and throwing knifes, and handy with a knives.

Weaknesses/Inabilities: Vadrian is a good fighter but he lacks strength. He also is not very social, hence the keeps to himself. He also has a hard time trusting others and is very sensitive about his ego and pride.

Appearance: Black eyes, black hair, and slightly tanned skin. He is always seen with a black hood, satchel, bandanna (black) and leather bracers.
