What is power-emoting (powergaming)?: Powergaming/Power-emoting is the act of forcing an action upon a character , OR doing something the character would be unable to do.

Character’s name: Tristain Baisen

Character’s age: 35

Biography: Tristain was usually the odd child when it came to trivial things and challenges of the form. In his tempered yet quizzical and rambunctious mind he would take note of certain things and begin to tinker with these thoughts or ideas, putting them into a story in his head or just fiddling with many What-if scenarios. His mind would always be filtered with wondrous tales, either made by him or told by those who ventured out into the unknown world. Treasures and riches to be found, deep within perilous dungeons littered with beasts that many would find repulsive, but he instead would find as a challenge to his fortitude.

But as he aged and matured, so did the world around him become less of a vibrant hue, and turned more into a faded grey. Wondrous tales were overturned and swallowed by life in his village. Merchants who’d come and go from Vandoria would make Tristain envious of lives beyond what he’d known. And when came a time for him and his brother to leave home in search of a better life, disguised as merchants wishing to turn their small village into something prosperous

When setting off on this quest to adventure, Tristain’s Stepbrother, Rae Leighton, joined him. The two found themselves in a new land with man ycreatures like the Gy’waka bird, which he fabricated into his own sigil. But with the tides of war shifting out of favor for the Empire of Vanderguan, the two were forced back to their village out of fear with the instability of the nation, only to find their home burnt to a crisp by unknown forces.

Personality Traits: Manipulative, ruthless when things do not go his own way, yet honorable in victory. Rancorous to Primitive Orcs for being a prime suspect in the desecration of his village. He’s lustful, yet temperate and diligent, but proud of himself to a fault.

Ambitions: To become a successful merchant with his step brother.

Strengths/Talents: Haggling, understanding people and their way of minds, patient, use to be a swordsman before a great injury left him to be a cripple.

Weaknesses/Inabilities: Suffers from paranoia, stubborn, and was brutally maimed during his travels, causing him to have a permanent limp in his step, and a stiff leg.

Appearance: Blackish/Arab type of skin color, brunette natural hair, no serious scars that are obvious, crimson eyes.
