Mama Moon

Elannya sits alone at their pier, looking out over the

crystal blue ocean. Her gaze sweeps over the same 

reflection of the sun in the water quite a few

times. She sighs letting out a warm breathe

that would be blown into the breeze, her gaze

now lowering to her lap. 

 

"I miss my family, and now a days I begin to

wonder if they even miss me."

 

Her sulken gaze raises to the now visible stars,

the sun leaving her shrouded by the darkness

and the light of the moon hugging her close. 

A single tear would roll down her rosey cheeks

as she'd look up at the moon, and with that she

felt more comfortable, because she knew

someone else was looking at it too.
