Ghazni 49 Share Posted September 15, 2011 Job Requirements: Looking to hire workers/builders to build various structures on a protected plot. Things such as houses, fountains and shops to boats, roads and religious buildings are all possibilities. The examples here are not the limits of what can be built. Where: "Casandraland", In the wilds, North/North East of Crimson Vale&Reckreation's Water/Snow Demon Tower, Cords will be provided if needed but the kingdom should be easily visible. When: Weekdays 3PM EST-11PM EST are my normal gaming hours, allowing me to be there and supervise. If your interested and cannot make these times, we can work something out as there are multiple people with region control. Weekends: Times will vary but others will be available to supervise. Pay: This is up in the air. I'd like to make it a "more you put in, more you get out" type of deal. If you'd need a set pay, it can be arranged. Materials: All building materials will be provided. If you have any that you want to bring, I'll gladly buy them off you. Contact Queen_Casandra (Orehime) in game or post here if your interested or require any further information! Blaedr 42 Share Posted September 15, 2011 My question is, what is the style of the region? Does it look like Oren? Undead? Kal'Urguan? Sanjezal? Laurelin? I think that would help people plan and think of buildings to help you out :) If it is none of these, then what provisions will be provided? That would help if there is no "default style". If you need help, let me know. I don't want to be paid, but would help OOC due to being Ascended IC.

Smooth stone/halfsteps/cobble road. However, I'd like to get a bit of style from all the races in somehow. Splitting the land up into districts I suppose is best way to describe it. We have the "industrial" district where mining, smelting, smithing, harvesting, cooking all takes place, inside a carved out mountain, which I think would be great for some dwarven buildings. We have a dense forest that with some pruning could be a nice elf area, while a sandy beach/lake dock that Orcs could get some sandstone buildings going. We have some stone/Oren style buildings going on, the wall, keep, gatehouse, etc, but would like some houses as well. These plans gives a lot of freedom to builders, but also makes it hard to think of what to build, catch 22. The layout of the land is a rectangle plot with a hill/mountain in the middle where the keep currently sits on. The inside of the mountain is completely carved out containing automatic harvesting, animal pens, mine, etc, All underground. A thick, smooth stone wall surrounds most of the perimeter atm, still being worked on. Roads and waterways scatter around the plot, while the main road spirals up the hill, finally reaching the palace. I'd like to have some "elitist" buildings on the upper spiral, while normal buildings and shops are on the bottom. This is NOT an Undead city, however markings of the Undead culture will be seen in the city. Even cultures we don't agree with have some beautiful building styles and materials. Hope that answers some questions!
