How did you find out about Lord of the Craft?: A couple days ago I saw a youtube video showcasing the map, and I found it interesting.

What is roleplaying?: Roleplaying is the act of pretending to be a role in some kind of story, with a character different from yourself.

What is metagaming?: metagaming is the act of using out of character knowledge or knowledge from a different character to strategize or to affect strategy or an outcome of a scenario

What is power-emoting (powergaming)?: powergaming is the act of being practical in game like, for example, if another character was on their deathbed due to a swordfight we had, you would not kill them immediatel, you would take their money or do something to efficiently move forward in your roleplaying experience.

 

In-Character Information
Now you actually make your character - be creative but stay reasonable! Make sure they make sense and that they follow lore. Try to come up with a character that you actually want to play.

 

Character’s name: (what do you want your character to be called?) Dubh

Character’s sex: (male or female?) Male

Biography  (Please make it a decent two paragraphs long. Remember to add three references to the server lore.) Dubh was born in 1521, in the Holy Orenian Empire. He stayed there for many, many years, eventually taking up the hobby of painting at a meer 7 years old. His mother passed away at a very young age of 5 years old. His father grieved and grieved, but it was hard for dubh to show sympathy, barely ever having known her. Dubh eventually began to tell stories through his art, painting many battles, such as the Dwarven civil war. Dubh hardly traveled until he was 16. While travelling through woods near the Orenian Empire, A bear jumped out of a tree, he was startled, and began to beg for his life. Dubh Defeated the bear and now wears the bear over his head like a cloak as a sign of ambition and determination.

  Dubh originally lived in felsen, the capital of the Holy Orenian Empire, then when he turned 19, he moved to a port-side city known as Riga in the Duchy of Courland. In, 1540, his father died from puncture wounds from that of an arrow. The reason why dubh moved to Courland was mainly to possibly find information on who shot his father. In Riga, Dubh began to sell his paintings for a living, though most people were too poor to purchase them.

Personality Traits: (what are your character's quirks?; habits?; likes and dislikes?) Dubh's favorite pastime involves climbimg mountains, fishing, painting and other adventerous activities, He dislikes people who fight without reason and believes violence is something only needed in desperate measures. Dubh also has a habit of carving stones.

Ambitions: (what does your character aspire to be?) Dubh aspires to be a great leader and overall have the ability to speak up for himself and others around him

Strengths/Talents: (what is your character really, really good at?) Dubh is very artistic, he has loved to paint his whole life.

Weaknesses/Inabilities: (what is a skill that your character needs to work on?) Dubh is weak with leadership, he can sometimes fail to stand up for himself.

Appearance: (what does your character look like?; how tall are they?; hair color?; scars?) Dubh is 6'2, with brown hair and a scar on his left eye.

-Your meta-gaming definition is a good bit convoluted. Try to define it better, maybe use an example?

 

-Your power-gaming definition is completely incorrect.

 

-Killing a bear unarmed at 16 is a quite an unbelievable feat... combined with how he attempted to beg a bear for his life. This is compounded on the fact he's a painter, not a man of action.

 

-Your character's minecraft skin depicts one red eye with a black sclera. That is unnatural and impossible.

 

-You need to balance out your character's strengths and weaknesses.
