You know only what that character knows. You’re supposed to separate yourself from your character and your real self. What is metagaming?: Metagaming is when you use information that you gained OOCly to your benefit RPly. So if I found out that a town was being attacked through Teamspeak or Skype, I wouldn’t be allowed to know it was happening RPly. What is power-emoting (powergaming)?: Powergaming is when I roleplay in such a way that the othe person I am playing with has no option. For example, if I emote *cuts off the arm of the man in front of me. I’m being rude because I didn’t give him a chance to dodge the attack. In-Character Information Now you actually make your character - be creative but stay reasonable! Make sure they make sense and that they follow lore. Try to come up with a character that you actually want to play. Character’s name: Erolas Ba’ikana Character’s sex: Male Character’s race: Dark Elf Character’s age: 125 Biography: Erolas Ba’ikana was born in the outskirts around the congregation of nations in Athera. Like the rest of his family, he is expected to dedicate himself to defending the Chieftains and their families. He is a loyal Warhawke through and through. He is a young elf compared to the others but he is fully dedicated to making a name for himself no matter what it takes! He was finally reunited with his family in the old Ancillary in Athera, the one behind the Haelun’or plateau. Although not many knew who he was, it was only because he preferred to travel the lands rather than stay in one place. He made his way onto a boat towards Vailor when Athera was attacked by giant worms. He spent the entirety of Vailor separated from his family. He never did find out where they were. He spent his entire time wandering. Eventually, he got onto a boat once more to Axios. Now he is reunited with his family and living in Riv’vallel, the one true home for all dark elves. He fully intends to do whatever he can to establish himself as a respectable Warhawke. Personality Traits: Loyal, relaxed, and hard-working. Ambitions: He aspires to be a great Chieftain guard just like his father was! Strengths/Talents: Erolas is an average archer. Though sometimes he prefers making bows rather than using them. Weaknesses/Inabilities: Erolas is young, therefore he is relatively rash at times. He fails to listen to his superiors when he thinks he knows better. This often gets in the way of his guard duties. He must work on this if he is ever to become a good guard. Appearance: Erolas is 5 feet 5 inches. His hair is jet black. His eyes are purple. His ears are short.
