How did you find out about Lord of the Craft?: I love roleplaying, so I was looking for some role-play servers. I found this server on minecraftforums.

What is roleplaying?: The act of being a character. Acting as that character, creating a story with your words, creating a life, doing things you would do in real life but more your way. You can make it up. It can be fantasy, realistic, or battles. Just you making a character playing that role, being that role.

 

 

What is metagaming?: Metagaming is using out of the game knowledge for your own good and advantage. For example: A player sends you a Skype message saying "I'm (the character) going to get hurt in this journey today." So, you (the character) go and save him before it even happens. But, your character shouldn't have known this. 

 

What is power-emoting (powergaming)?: Powergaming is learning all the ins and outs of the game to gain power and knowledge to defeat other characters. You don't like to give any another character the chance to react, get ahead or win. Example: Billy grabs his sword and stabs it through Bob's heart. You're basically giving Bob no time to react. It should be: Billy grabs his sword and tries to aim for Bob's heart. Bob moves to the side to dodge the sword.

Biography: Ambrosia was born May 3rd, 1542; When the Kingdom of Urguan and the Konigsreich of Vandoria, joined forces to form the Empire of Vanderguan. Ambrosia was raised in a tiny remote village at the edge of Al-Wakrah, where no one ever went. Her dad, Caleb, fought in the Duke War. Ambrosia's mom worked around the village, always getting resources for the village. Ambrosia didn't do much with her life; she stayed home all the time. When Ambrosia was 17, she ran away from her village; she was sick of the village, and didn't want to live there anymore. She wandered around the forest for about a month and a half and made it to Kal'Ordholm. She bought a ticket using some gold coins she had and got on a ship sailing to Salvus. While Ambrosia was on the ship, she heard other passengers playing very nice music. Ambrosia fell in love with the music and bought a guitar on the ship. She brought it along with her everywhere. The ship reached Salvus two days later. She stayed in Salvus for a while, but was not confortable enough. So she packed her guitar and a little handy bag, filled with berries and goodies folks gave her, and headed to Courland. In Courland, she met this wonderful girl named Laurley, which soon became her best friend. Laurley taught Ambrosia some chords to play on the guitar. Ambrosia spent a week in Courland, but still not confortable enough. She decided to leave Courland. Laurley carved an amber stone for Ambrosia to keep as a friendship necklace. Ambrosia travelled about two months, learning archery along the way, and finally landing at the perfect place to live, Lin'sulan. Ambrosia lives happily at Lin'sulan, She plays her guitar in the pubs around town for money. She also practices archery every morning with paper targets placed on some trees following her little rock trail. Watching the sunsets and the moonrise, always makes her more eager to move to the Grand Kingdom of Urguan.

 

 

Personality Traits: Ambrosia likes when people believe and help others. She dislikes when boys doubt girls and aren't helpful. She's also loyal, clumsy, curious, funny, weird,smart, and loves to play music on her guitar.

 

Ambitions: To become the best archery woman. Find Laurley again. To become a famous guitarist. To be one of the strongest dwarf. To live in the Grand Kingdom of Urguan.

 

Strengths/Talents: Playing guitar, helping animals, making friends, learns things quickly, and archery.

 

Weaknesses/Inabilities: Impatient, has a temper, lies, and moody.

 

Appearance: Ambrosia has long, light brown hair with gold streaks. Likes to wear hunting clothes. Has a couple of scars on arms and 1 scar across her eye. She is very short for her age, and wears a necklace.

Some of the places your character would have gone to in your biography, along with the timeline you chose, wouldn't have added up. A Dwarf during the war of Vangerguan(Which poised the Dwarves vs the Humans) ending up in Courland(A human town) would have surely met a swift end. Likewise, Lin'sulan, a High Elf settlement known for their racism and extreme purging ways, wouldn't have let a Dwarf live with them.

 

However, you clearly have shown that you took the time to research about the server and made an honest attempt at connecting the server lore into your application, which gives you the green flag.
