All In My Head

Valia'laure would dangle from her cage, her eyes remaining closed

as she would hum softly to herself.

 

"You can get out, just do it"

"You know they aren't going to hurt you, you're too valuable."

"You know what you have to do, Valia."

"Latz nub week"

 

 Valia would shake her head many times, squinting her eyes and 

squishing her hands against her cheeks, jamming her pointer

fingers into the sides of her head.  

Soon she'd stop, appearing to have calmed down as she'd let her hands 

drop back down to touch the floor of her cell with her pointer 

finger,  a light giggle escaping her lips. 

"It's all in my head."
