Hi, I'll start my application by answering some questions...

 

- Roleplaying is participation in a roleplay game the main form of communication is writing and creating a rich and diverse story line.

 

- Metagaming is taking control of the environment or universe in the roleplay and this often bypasses the rules.

 

- Power-emoting/gaming is creating an over powered character which is controlling has no weakness and is not fun to roleplay around.

 

Now I have answered those lets talk about my character...

 

Name: Hyper

Sex: Male

Race: High Elf

Age: 21

Bio: Hyper was raised by a rich family in Rivendell, he had a fairly happy childhood but found it hard to make friends. Hyper was an intelligent child and did rather well at school they encouraged him to join the Council of Elrond but he declined as he didn't want much attention. He studied simple magic and can cast a few decent spells but his weapon of choice is of course his silver sword, called 'Argentum'. After he finished school he was enrolled to the army but finished his service early and decided to leave. That was when he met the rangers.

 

A group of men and a few women that helped him, gave him food, gave him water and trained him. They called themselves The Rangers of Vailor and were like a Guild of Assassins. Soon he found himself rising in the ranks and making friends but then something terrible happened. There was a huge mission. It all went wrong. The Rangers went down, all of them dead. All but one. Hyper survived and to this day Hyper still uses his skills in the blade and the mind, to do good all across Vailor. Most call him 'the Hooded Wanderer' because of his hooded cloak and well the fact that he wanders. 

 

Some are scared of him. Some look up to him. Hyper has made many enemies, and a few friends but maybe there is more to this 'Hooded Wanderer'?

 

Personality: Intelligent, Mysterious, Kind, Lonely and Handsome.

Ambitions: To help Vailor to its former glory.

Strengths/Talents: He is clever and can be very persuasive. He is rather fast but his true strengths lie in sword fighting and parkour.

Weaknesses: Talking in front of lots of others, explaining his past, he doesn't like hurting others and has one secret that no-one knows.

• It would be better to tone down the number of significant events that have occurred with your persona. Remember, you are going to need to develop your reputation through roleplay - it won't be pre-existing. Another detail worth noting is the part when you claim to carry significant weaponry; you aren't going to have this when starting on the server so it is best to remove it.
