Amendment - Raid Rules

Raid-baiting is not permitted. (This is using a small force to make people chase you into a larger, pre-planned force to kill them in PvP.)

New Rule: 

Any attempt to camp the edge of a territory in order to draw people out, or block people from entry for the sole purpose to kill players for more than one hour a day is against the rules. Camping roads leading from a Fast Travel to a Nation Capital with the sole intent to kill players is allowed for 30 minutes every 6 hours.

Expansion- Raid Rules

For nations and other such groups with multiple settlements, a counter raid may only be launched in retaliation for the most recent raid and may only be done within 24 hours of the original raid

Addition - General Rules

Impersonation of Staff, past and present, or another Player through the use of Roleplay or In-Game Names is strictly prohibited. If you are found doing so, you will face repercussions of up to one month ban time in order to change your username to something else.

Addition: Combat Rules:

Once combat has been engaged either via RP or PvP a horse may not be called from another location- horses present at the time are fine to be ridden.

 

Addition- Lawful Raiding: 

"Lawful Raiders may bypass raid cool-downs."

Addition- General Rules:

Leaving Roleplay by Logging Off or going AFK due to other, out of game commitments, is permitted so long as you notify the other parties involved (Exceptions can be made if the leave is urgent). You are expected to resume the RP at your next available opportunity if requested by the involved parties.

Do not make a post just to correct other people. That’s not polite, and is simply unneeded.

The rule is non-trivially ambiguous and needed either further clarification or removal. There are cases when certain players absolutely deserve some correction and the corrections are relevant to the topic at hand.

Criticism must be made in a constructive manner. Make an effort to remain mature and uphold the good nature of each discussion; we do not tolerate toxic or deceitful behaviour and especially not any attempts to belittle others.

Criticism is helpful and helps us try to create a server that everyone can enjoy. If you have criticism, regardless of whether it’s for the staff or other players, make sure it’s given in a constructive way. Furthermore, if you disagree with what a player or staff member is saying, you should remain mature when expressing it. Attempts to belittle players or acting with an overall destructive manner will not be tolerated.

"I didn't know the rules!" is not an acceptable excuse, it is your responsibility to know the rules well! Do not try to misinterpret or skirt the rules in poor spirit, as disruptive or deceitful behaviour will be punished appropriately. If you are unsure about any of these rules—don't take the risk—but do ask; our Forum Moderators are more than happy to help you!

And remember, ignorance is no excuse. The use of “I didn’t know the rules” will not be accepted. If you don’t make yourself familiar with the rules, it’s your own fault if you break them. Especially since we have Forum Moderators and GMs happy to help when you don’t understand something.
