What is roleplaying?: Role playing is creating a new life to live inside a different environment or the same totally seperate (unless they're your child etc etc) and un attached to the real world complete to feel like a malleable life/person

What is metagaming?: using outside means of communication or information to gain an advantage commonly used when someone is being attack they get their friends to get online and save them.

What is power-emoting (powergaming)?: exerting power over others through use of text which they are given no control over such as "etc cuts etcs throat with a piece of wood"

 

In-Character Information
Now you actually make your character - be creative but stay reasonable! Make sure they make sense and that they follow lore. Try to come up with a character that you actually want to play.

 

Character’s name: (what do you want your character to be called?) Bloode pronounced as blood named as such for the dark red colour of his eyes appearing like coagulated blood, pseudo surname, more of a title The Hunter of Knowledge.

Character’s sex: (male or female?) Male

Character’s race: (you can find all the playable races here.) Wood elf/Dark elf, wood elf mother dark elf father.

Character’s age: (upon application, your character must be 18 or older, and depending on the race, they can be over five hundred years old!) 22 (but a young lad xD )

Biography  (Please make it a decent two paragraphs long. Remember to add three references to the server lore): (where does your character come from?; where have they traveled to?; what year were they born in? et cetera.) woo boy been awhile might not be the best (time to reread parts of the wiki :L ). Born in 1572 within the city of Haelun'or as his parents travelled to sell their wares of stones and woods leaving to travel back to linandria shortly after his birth and small amount of rest time the two parents could afford for his mother loeria to recovery from giving birth. He grew up somewhat poor but never hungry, seen by those around him to be slow in the head for his tendency to take his time to answer even the simplest of questions, His mother taught him to hunt like her people, nimble and swift whilst his father showed him how to crack rock firmly but intricately so as to only remove the minimum required without destroying the natural formations too much as it displeased his wife so he hand learnt to be more gentle with his pickaxe, The practices and lessons fun as they were held little interest for him tho he was enthralled by the sight of magic and enchanting especially with the elegance of the gylphs created and the grace with which they shone, although knowing such practices were outside his reach it would not stop him from admiring these beautiful feats achieved by the arcane, as he grew nearing his second decade he had already pestered every single mage he saw for information and demonstrations on and of different forms of magic, some agreed others would decline and some would lash out at the request believing it to be beneath them not that he minded much of course all for the possibility of seeing a type of magic he had not encountered before was well worth any beatings he had recieved, wishing to know of more forms of magic and if possible learn them himself on the eve of his 22nd birthday he asked of his parents blessings to leave them to their trades and go off (although he would have left anyway) in search of the arcane knowledge the world hides wishing to, like Latrilemar Elervathar, discover new magics or rediscover any magics lost to time.

Personality Traits: (what are your character's quirks?; habits?; likes and dislikes?) ***** head towards left shoulder when in thought or concentrating, dislikes: pretentious people in power, racism, bitter foods. Likes: sleeping, trying new foods and strategy. (like someone playing chess working out strategies to win etc etc getting enjoyment from that feeling), magic and rather eccentric, loner.

Ambitions: (what does your character aspire to be?) A wanderer, maybe open a guild, wherever the winds and seas take him, pursuit of arcane (among other forms) of knowledge)

Strengths/Talents: (what is your character really, really good at?) agile/nimble, good strategist, large amount of stamina.

Weaknesses/Inabilities: (what is a skill that your character needs to work on?) weak arm strength, takes a long time to decide things, not many allies, untrusting. eccentric(?) (good and bad depending on how you wanna look at that i guess).

Appearance: (what does your character look like?; how tall are they?; hair color?; scars?) 6ft 5' with white hair and deep dark red eyes the colour of deoxygenated blood (or old blood they look the same but thats because theres no longer any oxygen left in the vessels so still the same i guess?) always wears a hood so seeing the hair is kinda well basically impossible.
