How did you find out about Lord of the Craft?: I've RPed on MC for quite some time and heard about it from friends on RoK years ago but never bothered to come over here, now that RoK is officially dead here I am!

What is roleplaying?: I believe that roleplaying is taking up the role and immersing yourself into a character of your creation, their speach, actions and interactions with people and the world.

What is metagaming?: Using knowledge gained OOC to better your character/IC experience

What is power-emoting (powergaming)?: Rather than attempting to put it into words ill give an example. While in a sword fight IC someone is clearly winning, about to make a killing blow and the person on the back foot makes a move that would be completely inconcivable, and impossible as to gain the upper hand in a bad situation.

 

In-Character Information
Now you actually make your character - be creative but stay reasonable! Make sure they make sense and that they follow lore. Try to come up with a character that you actually want to play.

 

Character’s name: (what do you want your character to be called?) Urias (Uri) S'wolf

Character’s sex: (male or female?) Male

Character’s age: (upon application, your character must be 18 or older, and depending on the race, they can be over five hundred years old!) 26

Biography  (Please make it a decent two paragraphs long. Remember to add three references to the server lore): (where does your character come from?; where have they traveled to?; what year were they born in? et cetera.) Urias S'wolf, born to a middle class family within the Oren capital of Johannesberg, his father Ulson, a strong willed, and stronger built Farlander and his mother Tralis, a petite Heartlander, raised him in their home, a very small but well fitted house sitting deep within Johannesberg. Ulson, a merchant by trade would commonly make trips out of Johannesberg to other areas of the continent, taking his wares with him and promising Urias that one day that he would be able to come with him and take up the business himself. While Urias didn't have much interest in trade and commerce he did have an interest in adventure, commonly found wandering around Johannesberg and dragged home by the scruff of his collar.

 

As Urias came to be of age, his fathers promise did infact come true, and at 16 Ulson and Urias would make trips to the far reaches of Aegis from great mountains to sprawling forests, they would travel together, and Urias loved every moment and to his, and his fathers surprise, he actually enjoyed being a merchant, loving the bustle of market places, and the interactions with the different faces and people that would come to their cart, wishing to trade or sell trinkets, or buy things from the store.

 

By the age of 24 Urias was taking his own cart around, while Ulson would go to Al'Khazar, Urias would be on his way to Reedbourough to trade with the jolly halflings. After a while, Urias noticed that every time he would return his father was starting to become more and more tired and haggered clearly stumped by age, this worried Urias somewhat and decided to make it his job to take up the business finally and supply a steady income of gold for himself and his parents.

Personality Traits: (what are your character's quirks?; habits?; likes and dislikes?) Uri is a very approachable person, having been a merchant since a young age he can talk to anyone and enjoys doing so. Uri enjoys a good drink, while not working, he can be found in the local tavern drinking and making merry with dwarves and humans alike. While there are few things Uri dislikes, thievery and someone attempting to rip him or anyone else off angers him greatly, Uri stands for fair trade and hates people trying to get up by getting others down.

Ambitions: (what does your character aspire to be?) While he doesn't aspire to be more than a simple merchant, his ambitions are to be able to fund himself and his families lives and to keep his parent comfortable.

Strengths/Talents: (what is your character really, really good at?) Uri is an avid cart master, being able to take a horse and cart filled with goods over a good variety of terrains. He is also pretty good at selling things..

Weaknesses/Inabilities: (what is a skill that your character needs to work on?) While he holds a good stance on commerce he doesn't have any training in weaponry and combat in any way, other than being in a few slight bar scuffles.

Appearance: (what does your character look like?; how tall are they?; hair color?; scars?) Uri stands at 5' 11'' with long blonde hair dragged back into a pony tail going down his back. He has a thick blonde beard with a few little beads and trinkets in it that he has picked up across the years. His eyes are ice blue. He tends to wear a heavy blue military style jacket with slight embroidery and epaulettes aswell as a navy style hat that he picked up while trading on the coast and black leather riding boots. He has no noticeable scars beyond a few on his knuckles from scuffing on barrels and other such things.

- Placed on Pending because although  your app is good there are a few mistakes. Your character would never have lived in the time that Felsen existed, but rather they likely would've lived in Johannesburg (which is now in ruins).

- Also the halfling village of Dunwood is long abandoned for the current village of Reeedsborough, though it may be relevant that the people there do not use coins but rather choose to barter as a form of trade.
