Kharajyr Language - Kharahatla

 

Kharahatla is the ancient language of the Kharajyr, spoken by the first Kharajyr on the island of Karakatua, in Asulon. The language was thought to be lost with the fall of Asulon, but on the isles of Axios, a group of adventurers found the tomb of an ancient Kharajyr. This Kharajyr was buried with hundreds of books, written in the lost language. Though many were damaged beyond repair, with the efforts of many talented Kharajyr scribes, many of them were translated, granting insight into the once-lost language.

With the resurgence in popularity of ancient Kharajyr culture under Tlahtoani Jakarra, it has become popular among Kharajyr to use words and speech fragments of the Kharahatla language in daily speech. There is not enough known about the language to speak it fluently, but there is enough to use parts of it in day-to-day conversation. Beneath is a collection of words and phrases to be used in the efforts of understanding Kharajyr culture and reviving this ancient language.
