Out-Of-Character:

-Minecraft Account Name:abovoadastra

-How old are you?: 17

-Time-Zone/Country of Residence: EST, United States.

-Do you have a good grip on the English language/good grammar?:Yes indeed, I'd say I've rather the firm grasp on said language and the grammatical rules to which it pertains.

-Small 2-3 Sentence Description of yourself: I'm a very relaxed person. It takes a great deal to get me angry or upset about much, really. I enjoy meeting new people, as well.

-How much time could you be on the server weekly?: Very often, to be quite honest I've little in the means of a social life at the moment, and none too ashamed to admit so.

-How long have you played minecraft?:I've been playing since December of 2010, just before Beta.

-What do you know about roleplaying? How long have you been doing it? What kind?: I know much of roleplaying, however I haven't done it avidly in a great long time. I'm up for any kind of roleplaying I suppose, it's less about the means of roleplay and more about the story or purpose itself.

-What do you expect this server will be like?: An entertaining diversion from the usual monotony of just about every other 'same old-same old' minecraft server.

-What other server(s) have you played on and why did you leave them?:I've played on Exodus[or Serenity as it is known now] and The New World. Nothing in particular caused me to leave them, just a slowly declining interest.

-Have you read, understood, and agreed to the rules? What about the lore?: Check, and check.

-Name the 4 races on this server. Humans, Elves, Dwarves, and Orcs.

-How did you hear about us?: A friend of mine; goes by the name of Riizu.

-What is your The Lord Of Craft forum account name?Ab Ovo Ad Astra

In-Character:

-Character Name:Corbin Caleb

-What is your Race?: Human

-Biography: Raised in a relatively simple life, Corbin was born to two farmers in the countryside, where he lived happy and content. He learned to read and write from his much more sophisticated, wealthy best friend; Alyx, and spent his days locked inside his room writing short stories and novella whilst not working out on the farm. He would often read these stories to Alyx, his one true friend, and Alyx would love them so. A true light in an otherwise dreary life, Corbin held Alyx with regard above all other people he knew. Sadly, however, Alyx became greatly ill and could no longer visit Corbin. Instead, Corbin would visit Alyx, near death by his bedside, and read him all of the stories and poems he had written, often whilst holding back tears and choking over words. When Alyx finally perished, Corbin hit a state of shock. He remained in his room for days on end, eating nothing and speaking to no one. He scribbled madly in his books and soaked their pages with his tears. When he completed the book he had written for Alyx, he hid it away and never spoke of it again. To this day he keeps it locked up in a series of chests, trying his damndest to keep prying eyes from witnessing it.

Upon reaching the age of 18, he left the farm life behind to try living in the city. He makes his living selling books and poetry, and is quite known around town by word of mouth for his talents. He knows not first hand the life of a true hero, yet fantasizes about it all day long. His stories often involve average folk being thrust into above average circumstances, focusing on his belief that everyone is capable of great things, and one must achieve greatness, not be born into it. He's known for his avant-garde story telling and unconventional themes.

-Character Age: 23

-Character Appearance: Corbin has unkempt black hair and one enrapturing purple eye. His other eye was lost in a farming accident when he was young. His clothing is also unkempt and rather scraggly, as he is not a very socialable person and none too concerned with others' petty thoughts of his appearance.

-Character Personality:While not a cruel or anti-social man, Corbin does not feel the compulsory need for others interaction. He prefers to keep to himself and does not go out much. He still enjoys talking to people and holds no contempt for them, but he prefers to be with himself and only himself. Kind at heart and well-mannered, he is a charming gentleman inside, once looked past his rough exterior.

-Your ambitions:Corbin is not a very ambitious man, and has little to no wishes for a life greater than the one he is currently living. He finds others' thoughts of grandeur and godliness to be petty and shallow, and thinks of himself as an equal man to everyone else, and wishes for no more but to be held as such.

-Can your character read or write?: Yes, he is an avid writer; often filling his free times with penning whatever nonsensical musings happen to force themselves upon his mind.

-Can your character mine?: While not his strong suit, yes; Corbin can mine. Not very well and not very often does he do so, but he always keeps at least one spare pick at hand should the need arise.

-Are you a capable builder? While his mind flows with creativity and ideas for what he can build, putting these ideas into practice is where Corbin often falters. He can dream up a house directly out of heaven itself, but can not put into place the bricks which must be laid.

-Can you wield a sword?: Yes; Corbin holds swordplay as a very avid hobby. Often practicing in his basement, he always keeps blades at the ready. He enjoys collecting swords as a hobby apart from writing, and often draws inspiration from great sword wielders in his writings.

-Enjoy Farming?: Farming is perhaps the one true talent Corbin holds besides writing, being raised on a farm for most of his life.

-Does your character have any special skills?:Corbin is a very clever fiend, often contorting the words of others and himself to best suit his will. Apart from his cunning wordplay, however, he holds little to nothing above the average man.

-Other Information: Out Of Character; I tend to go against typical fantasy clichés. I enjoy roleplaying more as an average, every day person; than some special extravagant hero. I find a character with just as many flaws as perfections to be infinitely more interesting than a golden god of a character who can do no wrong.
