The fourth Chieftain of the Warhawke tribe woke up the night after he’d found an ancient cave of hieroglyphic type text not far from their campsite at that time. He’d been spoken to within the unnatural cold of the cave, he’d been given a vision.

That very same night he was awoken by the same vision in the form of a dream. He dreamed of a burning rock, within a black ocean, an ocean of nothingness. It burned bright blue like nothing he’d ever seen before. He feared it, they named it igne’acaela. Heaven’s Fire is what it would be remembered as. This would lead the tribe towards study of astronomy and the skies. Long before the fourth Chieftain’s vision, the tribe had grown a great admiring of lapis lazuli. The blue stone was captivating, they learned to fashion it into whatever they needed, they found methods of strengthening it for axe weapons, they turned it into jewelry. Even today, it is still admired. It is given as gifts, it is hoarded, and it is used for decoration.

He'd once lead the warhawkes in ancient times against undead beings and lead the group to victory. His strategic and tactical ways was new and unheard of for its time. He was head of the Ba'ikana family line and also taught all new recruits. Without him, the warhawkes would cease to exist.
Appearance: Uknown. His figure shown in the council would be a dark mist without any definite shape.
Star Color: Depending on the time, his color will switch between lapis and a blood red color.
Time of Death: Ancient Asulonian Times.
Learned: NO

Name: Moso'chino Taloha
Importance: The first Chieftain. Led along side the three original family lines, Ba'ikana, Othan and Taloha.
Appearance: Muscular. Average height at around 5'10'' and weighed 180 pounds. He loved to work out and his body definitely proves the passion for it.
Star Color: A bright white with a small glowing aura of red and blue on opposite sides.
Time of Death: Ancient Asulonian Times.
Learned: NO.

(( Note, this thread will be updated from time to time as there are many more members to our warhawke "Council." Understand that the council is not current leaders or characters that are currently played by anyone. These characters are dead and will stay that way. Here are a few quick paragraphs about Warhawkes, their idea of shamanism, and the "Council." Currently no one knows the name of anyone listed in this thread. This is not an RP thread. This thread is a list for all new and current warhawkes to show whom is part of the "Council."

-------------------------------------------

Shamans play an important role in the Warhawke tribe. They speak with the Council, read the stars to predict future events, and they are the holy men of the tribe. They are not so much of magical people, but being a shaman is mostly just a title and are mostly viewed as just priests. The shamans are also viewed as radicals in the tribe, and usually create new customs with the crazy ideas that they think of. Though they may seem crazy, most of them are gifted with a wide amount of wisdom.

Though Warhawke Shamans may already have an open mind most of them use herbal incense to expand their mind even further. The incense come from crushed berries mixed with spider venom. After mixing the venom and berries for so long, it creates a thick pasty substance that is put onto a torch. The torch is then lit giving a very sweet smell, but a very harsh kick and can give migraines to anyone who is not used to using the incense. It is said by the shamans that anyone with a weak mind will begin to ache after they inhale such a sweet smell. The effects from the herbal incense are very strong and can be very scary for someone who is not used to it. It causes very strong hallucinations and may cause a very fast heartbeat or heart attacks. Young men who are chosen for a shaman position usually die during their training from the incense which explains why there are so little Shamans that are alive today. The Shamans say that the minds of these men are too weak and that the Council took them into their arms.

The Warhawke version of a Shaman is not what most people view a “Shaman” as.  The Warhawke Shaman is more of a priest than it is a magic type. They perform funerals, marriages, and other holy events. They also speak with The Council known also as the gods of the Warhawke tribe by praying to the stars. Each star is said to be the soul of a dead warrior or chieftain that is known for affecting something in the tribe’s past. The Shamans can also tell important events of the future, but are not permitted to tell the events to anyone for the information may change the future and cause something of catastrophic proportion. This skill of telling the future is the most important skill that a Shaman will have and it is what gives the Shaman its dire importance.

A Warhawkian funeral is down by wrapping the body and head separately in heavy wraps of linen. They are burned together atop a pyre of wood. During the funeral, each Warhawke will take turns tossing wrapped lapis dust which will slowly turn the flames of the pyre blue in color.

Warhawke Ideology

The Cosmos and what it means to the Warhawkes:

The Warhawkes look at the cosmos as a form of guidance. For they are forever changing in the eyes of many Warhawkes. It is said that the first Chieftain, Moso'Chino spoke to an ancient being within the skies and it relayed the message of how important the cosmos is to him. Not even a day later, Moso'Chino witnessed a meteor come crashing from the sky. The meteor was said to have many inscriptions on it that only Moso'Chino and his followers could understand at the time. It spoke of a lost way of life. One not based on a god for giving guidance but instead based on following space and its never ending existence.

Each star represents a notable Warhawke after death. It is said that after death, the Warhawke's spirit bursts into a nova within space, creating a new star. Each star has a specific color, glow, shape and size to it and can be channeled to speak to as if it had a voice in Warhawke culture. Yet some stars stay undiscovered for many generations, only to be uncovered by a transcendent or a star-gazer within the Warhawkes during notable events. The stars are a very important aspect of the Warhawkes as they rely on their guidance through dark times. When there is no moon to light a way, the star is there to help light and guide the way for the Warhawke.

Igne'Acalea and its importance:
Igne'Acalea was founded after a vision was given to the Fourth Chieftain, Aquaris. The fire within his vision burned a blue hue and had the depiction of past Warhawkes standing within the fire. The vision was odd to the fourth chieftain and he feared the blue flames that would light the ocean of darkness within it. The previous Warhawkes standing within the fire were not burning, though they could not leave it.

It is believed that the Warhawkes that were burning in the fire were awaiting their transition into the cosmos to become one with the rest of their fallen brothers and sisters. The prior visions and discovery of Moso'Chino led the Warhawkes to study the stars, but not like the fourth chieftain did. After his vision, the stars were study on a more spiritual level. Many attempted to make contact with the prior greats of the group yet were unsuccessful. The fourth chieftain would be known as "Seer of all" as he was the first Warhawke to successfully make contact with the stars on a spiritual level.

Ever since the fourth chieftains vision, many warhawkes studied the stars much more in depth than ever before. They spoke to an individual star in the time of need yet many were unsuccessful to make contact. The Othan family, known for herbal medicines and being an all-around wack job of the Warhawkes were the only ones that were consistently making contact for the longest time. It is rumored that the Othans had a powerful drug that, when under the influence were able to connect to the spirits much easier than the rest. Yet only one Othan that continually keeps contact remains.

Transcendent and Star-gazer's:

These are the two "spiritual" ranks given by the twin chieftains, Ereinion and Eraynion Taloha to Mawloc Othan. The transcendent rank which was given to Mawloc was gifted in response to his constant contacts to the stars and restoring faith within the tribe. The twin chieftains sought Mawloc for guidance at times, or perhaps to see what the stars had in store for the Warhawkes.

The star-gazer rank has yet to be given to an individual. Yet it will be given out to young apprentices who wish to retain the Warhawke faith and learn the ways of our history. With the passing of our elder, we are at a disadvantage and look to the stars to help guide us down the correct paths and what our past was like. The star-gazer would be for those who're seeking a transcendent position yet have not fully made contact with the stars on a regular basis.
