What is metagaming?: Using outside information in an rp. For example: Your friend tells you they're being attacked, your character will not know that they are being attacked.
What is power-emoting (powergaming)?: Dodging every attack, making an attack someones unable to dodge, etc
 
In-Character Information
Now you actually make your character - be creative but stay reasonable! Make sure they make sense and that they follow lore. Try to come up with a character that you actually want to play.

Biography  (Please make it a decent two paragraphs long. Remember to add three references to the server lore): (where does your character come from?; where have they traveled to?; what year were they born in? et cetera.): Alex was born in a town name Burglum. He was born to a not very rich family but his Family was known to be huge Adventures. When Alex was a Lad his father took him out for a trip to see his mother who he never met after his father took him away. On his way with his father they stopped at a local tavern for them to rest the night, In the night Alex woke up after a nightmare he could not find his father. He walked down stairs looking around asking a bartender if he saw his father. Bartender “Sorry Kid your father… He was killed there was a fight last night” Alex was sent off the next day to go live with his mom. He was taken by a Wagon but the Wagon was ambushed on the way. 3 men took Alex and killed the rest of the people. Alex was used as a slave for a man named Saumion he lived his life as a servent always wanting to leave. When he cave to the age 15 Saumion died at the Funeral Alex escaped he ran as fast as he could he escaped he was happy. But when we noticed what had happen he was scared he did not know where to go but a voice started talking to him ??? You there kid, Why are you out here all alone?” Alex responded Alex “I was captured I am sorry I just need to find a town do you know any where I can stay?” ??? “You need a place to stay? How about this you can stay with me but you have to promise me one thing. You will take lessons of my Druid ways I wish to expand the worlds knowings of us druids deal? Alex “I don’t know if I can trust you.. I will stay with you one day what is your name? Mushin “I am Mushin of the Hemlok Forest I am a druid” Until Alex turned 20 he stayed with Mushin he became fond of him he grew to be like a father. But Alex knew that He had to leave. Mushin sent alex off to catch a boat at to a port city and. This is where Alex’s Adventure started he knew he would face many challenges he set out on that boat and when he arrived he was ready to explore he has arrived in the city of Haense.
