MunaZaldrizoti 8037 Share Posted April 15, 2017 Spoiler [!] A painting of the murder of Crown Prince John Augustus, circa 1586 Queen Anna Sophia met with Ser Bruce Hornigold in the throne room of Ostwick, her gaze on him as he interrogated her about the matter of King Lothar's death. Despite her explanations and testimony, the older gentleman grew quite insistent that the queen herself had committed the deed with her own hands, and his fingers twitched upon his hilt constantly throughout the meeting. "I stayed with the King as he died, to comfort him. What else could I have done? I don't have powers to heal, Ser." "You're a decisive *****, you know that?" Further back and forth occurred, with the knight becoming more enraged as the queen tried to remain clam. "Do you wish to add my body to the growing army of undead?" "I surely hope to..." The knight would pull a blade upon her, whilst initially visiting her for a diplomatic and civil meeting. Her brother and other guard were quick to defend her, and before a real battle could take place, the Knight ran from the throne room, through the courtyard, and out of the keep of Ostwick altogether. It would seem Ser Bruce Hornigold was not the brave man everyone thought he was, nor did he seem to be bothered by adding a corpse to the undead forces. Word of this would be spread from Ostwick. drfate786 1690 Share Posted April 15, 2017 Alifer wonders why the queen feels the need to lie about the king's death. She's a Horen and is the only one alongside Mardun to gain anything from the death of his highness, he begins to ponder for a moment questioning whether she and "Oren" planned the whole thing all along. Galahad can't comprehend how stupid Alifer is.
