What is roleplaying?: Roleplaying is when your eyes are not your own, but they are a made up person’s eyes, in roleply you try to be another personality. Think of it like acting, as if LOTC is your stage and you are one of many actors.

What is metagaming?: Metagaming is when you reap the rewards in character off of something you only find out through ooc means such as skype or teampseak.

What is power-emoting (powergaming)?: Powergaming is when you inflict an action upon another player without them consenting to it with you not giving them proper opening to react feasibly.

Grinzgar Mal’grozak was born in the year 1593 within the Axian Orc capital of San’Raakh. The young uruk didn’t know who his parents were really except that his father was named Mal’grozak. Grinz grew up in a small group of 5 other  lost orphan Uruks led by an elderly shaman named Xorlog Malog. Xorlog would keep the orphans under his care while naturally, his shamanistic teachings and ways would rub off on the orphans throughout the time. All throughout Grinzgar’s childhood he was told that his father and mother were kidnapped by high elves in order to be experimented on back in Hael’unor. Naturally, this put a bad taste in Grinzgar’s mouth towards the high elven folk, ever since he was a boy he would fantasize about tearing high elves limb from limb. Xorlog taught Grinzgar all the basic skills of life, along with some shamanistic values (not magic), and even how to klomp when he made the orphans spar eachother. Since orc society values strength, Xorlog wouldn’t want to deprive these uruks of a combat oriented up bringing.

 

When Grinzgar was 18 years of age him and the orphan group ran into a warband of Uruks from the Lur clan who were disgruntled about failing to catch a wolf for one of their trials. These uruks were young Lur uruks about the same age as Grinzgar looking to prove themselves to the clan. They thought that it would be a good idea to prove themselves through attacking the group of orphans and Xorlog without remorse if they could not seize a great wolf. The warband saw Xorlog’s group as sheltered weaklings that needed punishment. A bloody battle ensued between Xorlog’s uruks and the young Lur warband.  Xorlog was brutally slain along with the other orphan uruks and since Grinzgar managed to put up the most fight, managing to kill two of the Lur uruks with his axe he was allowed to live on. The Lur warband left a wounded Grinzgar out in the desert with bodies piled around him, bodies of those who grew up with. This is where Grinzgar’s real story begins.

 

Personality Traits: (what are your character's quirks?; habits?; likes and dislikes?) Grinzgar is an ambitious uruk that will do anything to prove himself in the eyes of a clan. He does not let emotions such as sorrow or love get the better of him. This uruk is a cold and unforgiving orc who will stop at nothing to get ahead.

Ambitions: (what does your character aspire to be?) Grinzgar’s sole ambition is to prove himself in the eyes of a clan and elevate his status to become a clan orc.

Strengths/Talents: (what is your character really, really good at?) Fighting with an axe, fishing, and klomping.

Weaknesses/Inabilities: (what is a skill that your character needs to work on?) Archery, horse riding, diplomacy, emotions, reading, and writing.

Appearance: (what does your character look like?; how tall are they?; hair color?; scars?)  Grinzgar is a runt orc, standing at 6ft 5 and weighing 400 pounds. He isn’t the tallest orc but his musculature definitely makes up for it. He has a black strand of hair with the rest of his head shaved. His skin is a dark green color and he has a scar across his right eye given to him by the Lur clan in that fateful brawl.
