What is roleplaying?: Acting out/performing a part of a persona

What is metagaming?: Metagaming is when someone uses out of character knowledge to influence RP.

What is power-emoting (powergaming)?: Powergaming is making your character too powerful and can't be beaten, in a way controlling another persons rp. - and doing things they shouldn't be able to do. For Example : **BARBARA THE BERSERKER GRABS HER GODLY MACE AND SMASHES IT OVER THE ENEMIES HEAD - KILLING HIM IN ONE BIG BLOODY GO!!!**

 

In-Character Information
Now you actually make your character - be creative but stay reasonable! Make sure they make sense and that they follow lore. Try to come up with a character that you actually want to play.

Biography  (Please make it a decent two paragraphs long. Remember to add three references to the server lore): (where does your character come from?; where have they traveled to?; what year were they born in? et cetera.) Hillevi Harshblood was raised by her Father and Mother in a camp - a forest on the cold island Ceru. After her Father committed a crime - murder. A drunken murder was all her father Magnar ever spoke of it. They scavenged for food, hunted as they had no money and nowhere to go. After seven years the cold had finally gotten to her Mother - Sigred. Hillevi never liked her, they hardly ever did speak. Only when Sigred was in an abusive mood and would take it out on Hillevi. But she is dead now. Magnar mourned for days and Hillevi had to find her own food. Scavenging for herself was much easier with two less mouths to feed. But Hillevi was getting rather sick of this life, so she decided to head into Sutica. Where she remained quiet, breaking into houses at night - pickpocketing. She thinks to herself "Just don't get greedy Hillevi" as she approaches the mans pocket. She never got caught. She eventually had enough money to go travelling and leave her damn idiot Father, and that was exactly what she did. During her time in Sutica all she did was hang around in the crowd, with her hood up - trying to ignore attention - like a true thief. After she saved up enough to rent out a tavern room for a while, she went back outside the city and travelled for another few days to get back to her family camp. To find her father - who had slit his own throat, he didn't even bother burying Sigred. He had slit his throat lying next to her body. Hillevi found it hard to find emotions.. seeing the two people she had ever spoken to - dead. "This is all your fault" she thinks to herself and kicks her fathers corpse. "I guess we were all born to die" she says to herself and wanders along back to Sutica where she heard voices in her head. "Join them!, YOU HAVE NOTHING ELSE" it repeated a few times in her head. Hillevi looked to both the corpses and took the knife from her satchet. Who could this be talking to her? - she wondered. Khorvad? - The evil one. Her father spoke of him once. Frustration, anger and sadness clung itself to Hillevi's cold-heart and she screamed on her knees pulling at her own hair she was going.. mad. "GO AWAY, GO AWAY, GO AWAY!!" and the voice vanished. It left her alone. She stood up, she looked around. Her parents bodies had vanished and she was starving, cold, tired.. She had maybe been here for days. She stood up, and decided to head to Sutica and forget this life. Hillevi decided to .. pray, this may not work but her Father also spoke of a Daemon named Grimdugan, who deals in Thievery. Maybe this will help her.. She prayed and asked for help. It probably won't work.. So she just continues walking and thinking to herself "Maybe I shouldn't go to Sutica.. Maybe I should go to another city hmm.. perhaps the place her mother, Sigred was raided - The Kingdom Of Courland, the independant country located on the islands of Asul and Than..". "Nah, I think I will just stick with Sutica". She sighed and continued her journey.

Personality Traits: (what are your character's quirks?; habits?; likes and dislikes?) Hillevi likes seeing idiots and her enemies getting their faces bashed in, she rather likes fighting too. She however dislikes Queens, Princesses and all those fancy folk, the ones who are stuck up their own asses.

Ambitions: (what does your character aspire to be?) Respected by all.

Strengths/Talents: (what is your character really, really good at?) She is very good at archery, as thats how she caught her food all her life. She is also a good theif and good at the methods of blackmail and bribery.

Weaknesses/Inabilities: (what is a skill that your character needs to work on?) Keeping calm, and staying focused of the task at hand - as Hillevi is easily distracted.

Appearance: (what does your character look like?; how tall are they?; hair color?; scars?) Hillevi is a rather beautiful girl, blonde hair and beautiful hazel eyes, that were passed on from her ancestors as Sigred and Magnar both had ginger hair and blue eyes. She has a rather curvy figure but is still rather slim. Hillevi's height is 5'9.
