DECLARATION OF REGENCY

1st of The Grand Harvest, 1617

"Unfortunate."

Peter Sigismund, circa 1617 to His Imperial Majesty.

Under the limelight of recent, callous events, resulting in His Imperial Majesty falling ill, and is henceforth bedridden, and confined to his chambers. Veteran doctors have been hired from the four corners of the realm to ensure his survival for the next eve, treating his plague with the utmost urgency. Nevertheless, the Imperial Council of The Holy Oren Empire, and His Imperial Majesty, has decreed that a suitable figurehead is to take charge in his absence, to ensure the prosperity and to continue the legacy of The Holy Oren Empire. It is that the convened council do henceforth declare that His Royal Majesty, Peter Sigismund, King of Mardon, and the Westerlands, Archchancellor to His Imperial Majesty, serve as the current Regent The Holy Oren Empire. May he serve The Holy Oren Empire and its People fairly, and justly, in the name of all that is Good and Great.

IN NOMINE DEI,

HIS IMPERIAL MAJESTY John V Frederick of the House of Horen, by the Grace of God, Holy Orenian Emperor and rightful Emperor of Aeldin, Forever August, Apostolic King in Oren, of Renatus, Salvus, Seventis, Vandoria, Savoy, Aesterwald, and Telemar, Defender of the Faith, Supreme Protector of Mankind, Duke of the Crownlands, Cascadia Avar, Frederica, and Cascadia, Count of Johannesburg Alamar, Frederica, Krajia, and Thesmer, and Thelen,
etcetera.

His Royal Majesty, Peter Sigismund of the House of Horen, Forever August, King of Mardon and the Westerlands, Duke of Blackmarsh and Marna, Count of Lorath, Cantal, Baron of Darkwood, and Vineland.
