What is roleplaying?: stepping into another persons' skin, creating a character to interact in a world full of characters, with the goal of having fun and escaping reality to a degree.

What is metagaming?: MetaGaming is using OOC information in RP.. It also applies to say you are talking to someone and your character gets in trouble and you tell them OOCly to come and help you so you don't die

What is power-emoting (powergaming)?: Power gaming is forcing RP onto someone like "Thrusts his sword deep at (Name) hitting him and knocking him to the ground" or it can be used as making your character more powerful then he is.

Character’s name: Connor Balkin

Biography  (Please make it a decent two paragraphs long. Remember to add three references to the server lore): 

 Connor Balkin, born in the year 1599, on a new moon between the hay bales of a countryside barn. His mother was the lovely Seanna Balkin, and his father was Dane Balkin and was also present on this fateful day. The farm town was of little importance to the realm, as it sat deep within the plains of the Dreadlands. Years would go by and Connor would grow into a fine young man, chipper and always pleasant. It was not days before his 17th birthday that the fine days turned sour. The town payed little attention to the war with Oren, until it finally caught up with them. Dane Balkin volunteered for the Dreadlandic war effort, along with many other men from the village only a few months back, and the village eagerly awaited their return. This was the day the Connor would not soon ever forget. 
    On the horizon a procession of horses and Nortruppen from the front began making its way down the road towards the village. The townsfolk had strung up banners, prepared cakes and was prepared to celebrate, but there would be no cheers this night. As the bannermen drew ever closer to the town, flags flapping in the summer breeze, the scene looked more and more bleak. Connor observed the procession, and realized there was a corpse wagon following the procession, and several wounded soldiers hobbled along with canes and crutches. Connor feared the worst. The Procession entered the town, and the weeping began. Connor observed the many faces, the Nortruppen that accompanied the wounded had bleak expressions on their faces. Connor looked around hoping beyond hope his father might just be alright. His heart skipped a beat when he saw the silver and white flapping in the wind, a Silversteed knight was amongst the procession, and even his face was one of sorrow. Connor searched and searched, he turned to find his mother just sitting on a bench, staring at the ground. Tears swelled in his eyes as he pushed through the Nortruppen, passed the wounded. He had to know the truth, the Silversteed knight would know what happened, surely there would be answers. He was stopped by a voice that could pierce the void. “Son!”
Connor turned to find his father, standing before him, scars on his face but otherwise in good health. Connor embraced his father in what felt like years but was only moments. Seanna ran to embrace them both. Connor looked around to see many more were being reunited with their loved ones, though not all. That day he vowed no one would should ever have to go through such pain, such panic. He planned to fight Oren so no one else would have to. These plans were foiled however during the great greenskin invasion. In a desperate panic, the realm took to the seas, and that was the last he would ever see of his family and village ever again. Now his path lies ahead of him.

 

Personality Traits: Hes a very happy and excited Character, and always wants to help people

 

Ambitions: Eventually to become a Captain or Commander of the Norland Forces!

 

Strengths/Talents: Cooking Food.. Bread and Steak is the best he can make

 

Weaknesses/Inabilities: Archery.. He isn't the best at Archery he normally misses the target

 

Appearance: Black Hair.. Blue Eyes. a Small Scar on his left cheek
