((Ahead of time, this is a shitty post, it needed to be wrote, however. So I wrote it in like 5 minutes while I work on my math and ap language homework, k thanks, bye.)

The Fall from Darkness.

One moment Serthek sat alongside the other Wraiths in the abyss, beckoned by Mordring only to be betrayed, and so they fell into the Abyss to where they were cast, they held on to something, but what? Serthek could not tell, but there were too many, they were slipping, the first one to fall Serthek did not recognize, but soon they would lose a grip, they could not all hold old. And he slipped, into the Abyss, the other wraiths holding on together, he knew not of their fate, but he knew he had been betrayed.

Descension.

He woke in an unfamiliar forest, in the form of Archimedes The Red, his most popular husk, something was wrong, he could feel through his skin, something that he could not normally do, and so he drew a blade from his side and slid it along his arm, expecting to see nothing but ash, but blood came out, this was wrong, oh so very wrong. Life-Force coursed through his body, this sensation, from so long ago.

Emotion.

He had not felt anything in years, but now, feeling everything at once. It overtook him, broke him, madness, it claimed him like many others. To go from immortal to mortal, strong to weak, everything to nothing breaks a man.

Betrayal.

At last, he knew how it felt, but perhaps it was a blessing, no longer did he have to serve under a ghoul, a false wraith.

Vinzakra, he had often wandered for long, to find answers he had needed. Perhaps he would do the same.

Before a blackened spire stood a knight on his lonesome, a man who longed for the pinnacle of the dark, that power which Faenor bequeathed him.

"I suppose it's to be expected."

"Sadly it is."

"The apprentice is gone."

"For now." he clarifies, rubbing his chin.

"I sense an absence in us. Longing."

"He was like a son to me."

A silence fell on the Abyss just as it did on the lone man, they were consumed by darkness once more.
