The Vael’Praedrum

(The Val-Praer)

“Kaean'leh thilln chul'okarae”

(Motto and words of The Val-Praer Family, meaning: We must safeguard our purity.)

 

History:

The family named Vael’Praedrum was nothing but a small family of ten. A mother with their nine children who had children of their own. When the genocide against the Mali’fenn began, the Vael’Praedrum where demolished, leaving but a couple and they’re twin sons: Talos and Kaloth Vael’Praedrum. The father, Jaloth Vael’Praedrum, deciding to maintain the boys in hiding and hide themselves alongside, shifted to the common for of the name, Val-Praer and for ears claimed he was of High Elven descendancy and that he was pure. After the death of Jaloth and Uyelinn (Mother), Kaloth and Talos separated themselves, meeting again just recently.

 

Features:

Being a family that considers itself and IS quite pure, the Vael’Praedrum tend to have silver or white hair. They stand at heights that range from 5’5” to 6’1” max. The tallest Vael’Praedrum is Kaloth Vael’Praedrum at 6’1”. Aside from that, they typically have purple or light blue eyes and very pale skin.

 

Goals:

The Vael’Praedrum wish to take a place on the Princedom as a formal family. The current Family Leader, Kaloth Vael’Praedrum wishes to be a loyal servant under His Majesty, The High Prince Aelthir Tundrak II, urging for a post within His government.

 

Religion (Beliefs):

The Vael’Praedrum believe, like all Mali’fenn, in Wyrvun and neglect any other religions.

 

Philosophies:

The Vael’Praedrum are avid protectors of the importance of purity. They think that for one to be able to gather knowledge, grow stronger or continue with life, he must be pure of mind and breed, and mustn’t have mix-blood.

 

Traditions:

Coming of age: For a Vael’Praedrum, when he reaches the age of an adult elf, a celebration is held in his name, with festivities such as a feast, a talent show and a ball, with the new adult and his partner, if they have one, dance in the middle of the Family’s Hall.

Marriage: Marriage is, aside from a sacred union, a mark in their lives. When a Vael’Praedrum gets married, a feast alongside a secluded ritual is held to congratulate him.

Also if u  were to join u'd have to make lore about ur character being the 3rd surviving elf of the family, right? Or do people join the family as bodyguards & what not
