MamaBearJade 2090 Share Posted September 11, 2017 The darkness plagued her dreams. The tendrils, the laugh. She awoke with a cry as she felt the stab in her left arm, tearing through flesh and bone. Her eyes fluttering open, flashing silver and blue as she screamed out. Slowly he turned over, pulling her into an embrace, his hand over the swollen stomach that held the memories of what had happened. “Ela, it’s alright, you are safe.” She looked at him, unsure. She sighed before nodding. She curled into him, feeling the life within kicking in protest. She knew things would only get worse for her. She shook slightly as she slowly fell asleep. She had felt safe, safer than she had thought in a long time. Guy. She could not thank him enough for helping her. He kept her safe when she was along. He helped her remember why she was vessel of purity. She knew he would stay one of her truest friends. Athrel stood by her side, through everything. She could not thank him enough. “Sister?” Ela was pulled from her daydream as she looked back at Karyssmov. She smiled meekly. Her crimson hair falling over her face. “Someone has come to the door.” He moved to let in the stranger as Ela looked back at her hands. She had to learn, had to get stronger. “Greetings. I am Pyralis.” A voice said, pulling Ela from the pain that had been building. “I was sent to check on Elawynn?” Slowly the young cleric turned, her eyes falling upon the woman. The cloaked figure moved closer. As they began to exchange words, her thoughts were pulled back to the pain. “It is time.” she rasped, weakly. Karyssmov and Pyralis turned, looking at each other. As Athrel stepped into their home, Kary and the newcomer worked tirelessly to help the weakened cleric bring forth the new light. As she lay on the bench, relaxed and recovered, Ela looked over at the young elfess held by Pyralis. “Athrel?” “Yes my love.” “I know what I want to name her.” She had been thinking on it for days. She had wanted the child to be born in with light, not with the darkness that surrounded Ela to this day. “Elvira.”Ela had named her after her mentor, her mother, and her dearest friend. Someone who held her together when things fell apart and brought her into the light. She turned to those gathered, feeling herself lighten as those gathered nodded in approval. “I miss you Haelun. May this light be bright within the darkness.” OOC This was more to just get out a lot of the feels that were had in this roleplay. Thank you K0llu, ThatGuy, Eandyil, Lhindr, and Farryn for the roleplay. It brought a smile to my face.
