The Common Good.

               What is good? Most people would state that their god, their nation, or their king is good. But otherwise noted the common good for all of us can be traced back to two organizations. The Cloud Temple monks, and the Library. These two organizations have saved countless numbers of people throughout its history. Hence forth they shall be called the common good. No one else is as purely good as these people are. God's cannot compare to the work of these mortal beings who helped reshape our society in ways we don't notice.

              The Monks are healers, my father tried to become a monk, and the monk religion is quite satisfying to understand. It has a basic premise of a triumvirate. Three all-powerful beings. Each one brings its own peace to certain people. Some will also know there is a forth one but this is not the meaning of this paper. This is about how they do good for this world. The Monks, even if you don't know it, bring each one of you people back alive. It can heel you if you really need it. A simple trip to the Cloud Temple Docks could potentially save someone's life. Their magic is strong and mostly unheard of but it is a great magic that ever single mortal needs. In wars the only reason the citizens keep up with their fighting power is because a monk heals the body and brings the soul back to it. This leads to a life being saved. They are a good organization that doesn't do things for themselves, but for the common good.

               The Library on the other hand is a different type of good. They do save people, but they do it in the most unlikely of ways. They are heavily dependent on magic users to join their ranks, they are also dependent on scholars to research certain things. They are the framework of all knowledge in this land. If you know of a great invention someone made it was more than likely invented by someone who either went to the library or someone in the library. The library is the eye of history and information in these lands and all people wish to use the library for good or evil. The people in the library are the most trustworthy people out there. This includes its leader Nemir and who I believe is second in command Crumena. They both work hard to keep knowledge protected. Their doings also saved countless lives. When they see something big happen they think of the most logical way to handle these situations, and they strive to truly neutral. This organization is much less a guild and much more a nation. It is knowledge in these lands.

              While both of these organizations may have small downsides they overwhelmingly do good for these lands. Hence forth making them the area in which goodness lies. Our lives are in their hands, and yet I despise the fact that one group can have such power, I will accept the fact that they do and continue to hope they do well in their future endeavors. These are the two organizations that I will say do good. As they are the common good in the land of Axios.
