A CONDEMNATION OF HERETICAL PRACTICES

We of the Holy Hearth do hereby issue a condemnation of Heretical practices upon the false temple of  Vjorhelm. The existence of this temple and its use as a place of worship is an abomination before the All Father. We of the Holy Hearth do demand that those posing as priests of the father within this Temple do cease immediately. Your offences shall be forgiven upon completion of Penance by Fire.

 

The Vjorhelm Temple is declared a cursed ground unfit for worship for the following reasons

1. The Vjorhelm Temple lacks a proper Hearth
2. The Vjorhelm Temple lacks a fire line to a pure Holy Hearth Fire
3. The Vjorhelm Temple lacks a cleansing basin
4. The Vjorhelm Temple lacks an edition of the Red Scrolls or any tomes or documents referencing its interpretation
5. The Vjorhelm temple does not possess a single member of the clergy that has been risen from initiate to priesthood and granted a Flame brand

 

Due to the aforementioned criteria the following effects are applied

1. All false priests are declared Anathemas of the Red Faith until offences are rectified via Penance by Fire
2. All rituals performed within the Vjorhelm temple are defunct and void as the Temple lacks the holy presence of the All Father. Therefore all of the following rituals are void in the eyes of the Holy Hearth.
   1. Cleansing Rituals, The Vjorhelm Temple can not induct any prospects into the faith
   2. Marriage Rituals, The Vjorhelm Temple can not join any two of the faithful in marriage
   3. Blessings, The Vjorhelm Temple can not issue blessings on behalf of the Father as they lack
   4. Coronation ceremonies, the Vjorhelm temple lacks the sacred authority to bestow the following titles upon any monarch operating within the confines of the faith.
      1. Bearer of the Father’s Bulwark
      2. First Son of the All Father
      3. Defender of the Faith
   5. Initiation ceremonies, the Vjorhelm Temple can not initiate prospects into the ranks of the clergy. Furthermore the Vjorhelm Temple cannot raise initiated priests to the rank of Neophyte or Keeper.

 

We of the Holy Hearth do beseech our brethren, fallen to darkness to abandon their blindness and return to the warm embrace of the All Father. The traditions and teachings of the All Father must practiced in the proper fashion. Without stability there can be no society, without society there can be no strength. And those without Strength of mind, body and spirit ultimately cannot devote themselves to the service of the All Father or the adherence to his tenets.

In addition to addressing the grievous offences committed within the confines of the cursed Vjorhelm Temple we of the Holy Hearth would like to take this opportunity to rectify a variety of popular heresies we have encountered of late. Those fallaciously bearing these heretical views or are to rectify themselves with the Orthodoxy of the Red Faith.

 

“Holy Hearth Fire is irrelevant, any flame will do”

 

Perhaps the most grievous of heresies short of personally extinguishing a Hearth Fire. The Holy Hearth Fire is an indication of the direct presence of the All Father. The Book of Paragons reveals the follow. Without the direct presence of the All Father all blessings or rituals conducted in his name are meaningless and void. The Father is not a patient liege and his attention cannot be garnered merely by whispering into your camp fire. You must be in the presence of a holy flame as well as invoke a specific paragon to have any hope of reaching the father. Therefore the assertion that all flame is equitable is fundamentally false and heretical. Those that adhere to this ideology shall in the future be referred to as Presian heretics, for decrying the presence of the All Father in Holy Flame.

 

“The Paragons do not exist there is only the All Father, he needs no servants”

 

Parian heretics, those rejecting the paragons are fallacious on two counts. Firstly the Book of Ascension: Verse 2 states the following “Let the strong reveal themselves that I may take them into my company. In exchange I shall reveal to you the strong, that you may revere their deeds beyond their time”. We of the Holy Hearth hold that A,V2 references the paragons. As it speaks of revealing their strength beyond their time. This adheres to the conventional method wherein paragons are revealed to members of the Holy Hearth through visions bestowed by the All Father.
