What’s the rule you agree with the most?: The rule I agree most with would be the 'Community Guideline' that says ; "Use common sense." Since a lot of times problems can be avoided if you keep this in mind. Unfortinately this is not a rule as it is a Guideline. So the rule I agree most with is ; "we prohibit metagaming and powergaming." I believe this goes hand in hand with "Use common sense." If you think about what you do In Character and you do not force anything upon anyone then you usually go a far way. If you use Out Of Character obtained information In Character, metagaming, you can usually avoid this by using common sense. Just like giving the other player a fair chance of choice in what goes on in character.

Are there any rule(s) that confuse you or don’t make sense? (if so we can help clear it up!): I have read the rules and they all are clear to me.

How did you find out about Lord of the Craft?: I have had multiple friends recommend the server to me and another did it this very day. He then convinced me to apply.

What is Roleplaying?: Roleplaying is when you, as the name implies, play the role of someone or something. You live the life of the character that you decide to play.

What is Metagaming?: Metagaming is using Out Of Character obtained knowledge In Character. If your character has not obtained certain information in a roleplay scenario, he should not be able to use said information.

What is Power-emoting (Powergaming)?: Powergaming is when you force an action upon someone else's character. It is when you do not give someone the choice to respond in another way but yours.

 

In-Character Information
Now you actually make your character - be creative but stay reasonable! Make sure they make sense and that they follow lore. Try to come up with a character that you actually want to play.

 

Character’s name: Mikael-Vincent Leopold Constantine II.

Character’s sex: Male.

Character’s race: Human.

Character’s age: 26 years old.

Biography  (This is one of the most important sections of the application. Please take your time and make it a decent paragraph long. Read up on your character's race and be sure to add at least one accurate reference from the server lore): Mikael hails from an island formation with few people on it. The Constantine Isles only holds the house of Constantine, with her branches. They are a house of researchers and scientists. They are not nobles, they are not famous. They are, however, very egoïstic and think they are. The house of Constantine branches out in 3 other houses. The house of Carigan, studying the arts of physics and chemistry. The house of Fitzgerald, studying the arts of history, cultures and geography, and the odd one.. The house of Knight. This house is the odd one of the four as, next to their interest in alchemy, biology and martial arts, they have a great interest in the magical elements in their realm. The  four houses live together on the same island. Study together as their arts and interests often get intertwined and they need people from the other houses for help. The house of Constantine is expected the most from. They are to know the most of all of arts. Everything from Chemistry to Martial arts, from History to Biology. Everything the 3 houses study will get back to the head of the Constantines. This odd group of humans only the isles if needed for their research, as they survive by trading their knowledge for suplies. Ofcourse they had to leave their isles for their research more then often but they all came back to the isles after. The Constantines were busy learning from the books provided by the other houses and so was Mikael for his first 18 years. He had, like expected from a Constantine, a great interest in all arts. Except.. when he said all, he ment all. As he had a great interest in the magical aspects aswell. Much more the his predecessors have shown this far. And that is how Mikael arrived in Norland. His quest for Magic and Science has led him to this city next. He has spend 8 years on his quest already and is now to explore the continent of Atlas.

Personality Traits: Mikael is a very curious man. If something peeks his interest, he finds it hard to let it go. Mikael is overall friendly but is willing to make offers for his goals if needed. Not only does he like his 'arts' and magic, but a good story can truly make this man's day.

Ambitions: Mikael is out to study and learn so he later can return to his house and take up his role as head scientist from the house of Constantine.

Strengths/Talents: Mikael is good at his 'arts' as he was forced to learn them all from a young age, but there is nothing he peaks at.

Weaknesses/Inabilities: Mikael needs to work on his social aspects. As he is not one to easily see one as a friend or trust. He has his goals set like a true Constantine, but he has much to learn on social aspects. Nor is Mikael the strongest or most athletic.

Appearance: Mikael is a slender, tall young man as he stands at 6'1 tall and weighs 143lbs. He has gloriously long, blonde hair with deep pearly blue eyes. His skin is very pale and always wears the over the top fancy clothes from his house. On his hip he carries a black-steel Rapier and Parrying dagger as his weaponry. On his belt he has a variety of satchels and pouches. Carrying a larger bag on his back when traveling.
