Cold Skies I

Strange published words were strewn around cities, only being signed by the name 'Ahlan'

"Trodden snow and beaten down paths, a memory of old. Stars rise before the wastes, shimmering elven eyes, a form ensuing in the cosmos. Faded with a hand wave, a mirage, the falling of hands and the marching of feet. A drumbeat in the south and a heartbeat in the north, an oaken cane prodding through stones and dirt, wiping across the outskirts of an earthly wound. My eyes fell towards the expanse, cold bit at me, and the sea waved and prodded, inviting a frigid wade. Eyes turned upwards once more revealed naught but more Fennoscandian coasts raised to a plateau but above the endless light-blue drink. Old bones, old days, though still barren."

Raphael shifted amidst the harmony of the homily, afore a crowd amongst that of spectators and kith and kin alike- speaking with a tone that was either disappointed or sardonic- none could speak truly after hearing the cacophony of cynical words that spewed forth from his hallowed mouth even now.

"Not once, not twice, not even twenty times, have I heard something as original as this- nay, not even this, throughout the eons of my existence, have I seen a call to the eldritch as poorly spoken and written as this. Nay once, do I hear an original call to the Old Ones as untainted, and defamed as much as these pretenders at those trying to understand that which is profane, of wild abandon. Nay- cease speaking."
