The First Convention of the Global Assembly

14th of the First Seed, 1651

 

Greetings, the notice began. This letter is meant to inform all world leaders, of every nation and government, that they, or a representative, are invited to the table of international affairs, to offer their opinion on the current state of our undoubtedly divided and politically distressed continent.

 

The Global Assembly, or simply, "The Assembly" for short, is a newly formed, international organization, aimed towards regulating global relationships, keeping records of historical affairs, develop alliances, and create a set of international laws which set a standard for external acts of injustice. The idea came about when Lotte Baptiste, judicial operative of Vrakai and avid political proponent, saw an old letter written by the Prince of Liandria, designed to condemn the Warhawkes. It was a perfect time for his organization to spring into action, and he wished to establish this organization for future conflicts akin to this, developing a collective council which would mediate world affairs. Imagine, the nations and settlements of the world, gathering at a single location to discuss political affairs, foreign disputes, so on and so forth. In addition, this would provide a neutral, third party platform for world leaders to place their faith into, knowing that an unbiased, yet competent organization would be providing administrative oversight of world affairs.

 

We would like to ask that all national, community, and racial leaders, should you be the governor of some major civilization, contact the organization and be willing to either attend yourself, or to send an ambassador. This meeting will cover the following topics;

 

• The acceptance of all world nations, signing a basic document to accept their nation into this new, bold organization, ensuring that their society shall be among the greatest of the continent.
• Debates over internal committee operations.
• Conversations to discuss international law.
• Basic orientation and introduction.
• Allowing each ambassador to voice their concerns and priorities, which they shall be striving for from within the organization.

 

We ask that all nation leaders and/or ambassadors prepare their agenda, ready to answer questions about all of the topics to be discussed. If you are the leader of a world government, please submit the application below. Our offices will confirm further details with you in the near future.

It is time that the nations of Atlas properly conduct international affairs in a civilized manner, although this is not a peace keeping operation. It is merely an outlet for nation leaders to voice their concerns, and debate with other civilizations pertaining to their people's qualms.

 

For the citizens of Atlas, who are not involved with the government, yet still wish to contribute to these international efforts; A new, militaristic division of the Global Assembly is to be established, a civilian law enforcement agency of sorts, tasked with enforcing the decisions of the member states around the continent. Your services are just as important as any politician's.

 

We look forward to your attendance, leaders of Atlas!
