Slothtastic 761 Share Posted March 3, 2018 The Hei-Zhu entered the tavern. Unaware of the hookahs present almost everywhere. He could smell the smoke of the cactus green. Soon, he found who he was looking for. The tavern owner. Xiahou, as he was known, requested a tea. Nothing special, of course. Taking the tea, he made his way to a booth. There was a hookah there, and he considered taking a puff himself. After the tea, he decided. However, temptation clawed at him. He took the hookah in his right hand, and took a long puff, and slowly found himself becoming drowsy. He fell asleep, soon after. He almost instantly found himself in a new terrain. It was strange, with snow plaguing it. He was cold, yet his fur kept him from freezing. Something was approaching through the thick snow, he could hear it. Until finally, he saw it. And what he saw was majestic. A 12’” tall Albino Gorilla, came running through the snow. It charged at him, he had no time to move away. The beast broke the booth with him going soon after. His armor was badly damaged, and he felt fear for the first time in a while. The beast was unharmed. Piercing crimson eyes staring daggers into his soul. It picked him up by his arm, and he felt helpless. His strength almost instantly left him. “You…” It said with a gruff voice, disappointment present. “You are weak, unfit, and lazy.” It growled, throwing him down. “Yet you wish to lead?!” It roared. Xiahou tried to get up, but it came and picked him up again only to throw him against a snowdrift. “I am Sētō ēpa, I am the new silverback. You will learn discipline, you will learn leadership. And you will. LEARN! STRENGTH!” The White Ape roared, moving towards him. “Yet, despite all of your lacking traits. I name you my champion. You are the first to discover me, and I am in need of someone to spread my word. You will no longer be known as Xiahou. That was you when you were weak, you are now Nakul. Forget your old ways, there are new ways. Strength dominates over all. Nothing else.” The White Ape told him. And with another roar he charged. Yet before it could hit him, he saw a new vision. Hou-Zi in a strange, new land. The Yatl wasteland. They had weapons in hand repelling attackers that had come to stop their empire. The Hou-Zi once again, a nursery this time. Many children were in it, playing with their mothers and fathers. And finally, he saw the crimson eyes of the White Ape. He awoke. The sounds of the jungle disappeared, and were replaced by the average tavern conversation. He did not know what had just happened. But what Xiahou did know, was that he’d better become stronger. Or else the White Ape -what he had decided to call him- will punish him for his laziness. Xiahou, no, Nakul promptly left the tavern, he was afraid now. But with fear comes determination. And with determination comes leadership. And with leadership, comes strength. He forged new posters, proclaiming the new age for the Hei-Zhu. For all Hou-Zi. It was hung all over. From small towns to the more popular. “Hou-Zi. Hou-Shen shall not return, our fears have been confirmed. The God King has passed, and we must move on. There is a new silverback, a new leader. A new King. Seto epa, will lead us to greatness. He gave me a dream, where I saw the Hou-Zi thriving in a new empire. A new age, where Hou-Zi would be on top. No more would we fear for our safety in towns we knew little of. We must let go of our past, our failures. We will not be split any longer. Come to Nakul. I will find a new place for us, where strength will dominate. Where we will no longer be the minority among the humans. I call to you all. Come with me, so that I might help you.
