Edict of Dismemberment

From the Office of the Lord Marshal; Confirmed by His Majesty, Karl II

To the Nobility of the Realm,

 

The Lord Marshal does hereby declare all military entities within the Realm to be null and disbanded immediately.

 

Though they have valiantly carried out their duties in the past, the King has acknowledged the current dwindling numbers within the ranks and has tasked His Marshals to consolidate the remnants of the Haensetian militants.  Therefore, all divisions are advised to enlist into the newly formed Order of the Golden Crow, a Brotherhood of loyal soldiers, dedicated to the safety of the Barbovic House, led by the Lord Marshal himself. 

 

Furthermore, all soldiers that are no longer wishing to serve in combat-orientated roles are advised to speak to Matthew Colborn @JuliusAakerlund; the man tasked with all civilian inquiries. He is generally found at The Dancing Crow Tavern within Markev.

 

 

Retired soldiers are granted the following rewards for their loyalty to the Crown:

 

• A sum of 200 minas

• Free Housing within Markev

• Immediate transfer into the newly reformed Order of the Golden Crow (if they so desire).

• Free set of equipment. (Armor, Sword, Bow, etc)
