Beginning stages of the Siege, 5th of Snow’s Maiden, 1661

For a year, the Ram’s brigade remained stout in their siege and frequent raids of the once mighty Principality of Curon, Count Eimar var Burgundar being charged with the ultimate and final dissolvement of the principality and the annexation of the territories. Through constant harassment, lightning raids, disruption of trade the economy and military suffered and starved.

Scaling the walls on numerous occasions undetected, the Ram’s Brigade wrought havoc in the city, capturing many members of House Devereux and government officials, executing some and imprisoning others.

All came to ahead once Linette, after repeated demands for her to surrender, was caught when the sun was highest in the sky on the 10th of Snow’s Maiden, 1662. A host of Eight-Hundred men went westward with their newly found price to present it to the court of Renatus.

Through the shrewd negotiating of his Highness Charles Elliot and the swift intervention of Frederick Pius, the Arch-Chancellor Alexandre de Aryn-Ashford bent the knee to his former king and swore Curon under the Kingdom of Renatus-Marna.

Storming of Cyrilsburg, 11th of Snow’s Maiden 1661

Once the negotiations had seized and finalized, with the surrender of Curon, Lord-Marshal Antonius, Count Eimar and Edgar Sarkozic assembled a host of five-thousand men to finally take the city once and for all. After recieving the keys to the very city, the host charged through the front gates, storming the square and pouring into the town, slaying what last vestages of resistance there once was, the loyalists were then gathered and the town secured by the combined Renatus force.

The Aegis, or Ajax Ironwood, slams his blade into a tree, nearly cutting it down "You Shits had one job when I left, One job, and you failed us, you failed your late Prince, Late duke Karl, and the people. Renatus claiming you was not their fault, but you, the people's." He storms off, with his blade ready to kill anyone in his path.

Linette recalled the discussions in Renatus where Curon willingly surrendered to save its own people, rather than the glorified march upon it.
