Dor and Dorin Retain Consulship

The Free City of Holm had elections this week. The top runners Dor Irongut, Dorin Irongut, and Evan Katke. Dor and Dorin Irongut both campaigned by showing the good work they had done for Holm already. Evan on the contrary tried pointing out flaws, some of which had already been fixed. In the first seat, Dor had just just retained the Consulship well Dorin had blown out the votes and there was no doubt of had he won. The DNN congratulates the two Consuls and hopes they only better the City of Holm more than they already have.

 

High King Garrond Chilling in Holm

Just a few stone days ago, High King Garrond Frostbeard, was visiting the City of Holm. High King Garrond had just sat by the fire relaxing and chatting with the dwarves of Holm including Hogarth Irongut. The DNN asked Hogarth Irongut about the experience and all Hogarth had to say was ‘I had a very pleasant conversation with him.’

 

DNN is official Holm Newspaper

The DNN is happy to announce that it officially became the official newspaper of the Free City of Holm. A vote was proposed in the Holmite senate to make the DNN the official newspaper. After some debating a vote had happened in the senate. The vote was in favor of the DNN. The DNN is happy to continue reporting on Holm and was happy with this great honor.

 

Happy Family Reunion

Darek and Duren Hammerfist were happy this stone week when they finally reunited with one of their kinsman. The kinsman’s name is Thoradrin and he was off on a pilgrimage. A smile from ear to ear appeared on Duren’s face when he re-saw his kinsman for the first time when he wandered into the Pick and Boons: Digger Emporium, where Duren Hammerfist had happened to be at the same time. Duren Hammerfist had then taken his kin to the nearby tavern to where they had some drinks together.

Caius scoffs, reading over his own publication. "Maybe if the DNN hadn't been racist and rejected an adept journalist such as myself, they wouldn't be faced with this superior journalistic opposition! This isn't real news, it's nothing more than town gossip."

Rukhus slowly but deliberately lifts the newspaper up high, gently caresses the sides of the finely made journal of true news . As he reads through the paper all the emotions hit him. Laughter, crying, rage and joy. This truely is, Rukhus thought to himself, the best newspaper that ever was.

"Maybe it's because Verthaik never got to brainwash these dwarves" he began said out loud before a great pain flashed across his head and forced him down on to his knees in front of the finely crafted statue of Verthaik II Frostbeard that took up half his living space. He spat out, almost unwillingly;

"Arcadians all of them, the true clan is the Frostbeards and everything else is fake news"
