Deleted User 009 0 Share Posted September 21, 2011 Hey guys I'm about to head out for the gym; but I just wanted to throw a post up. Both I and availer have been CRAZY busy lately with our lives, and today is really the first day I've been able to troubleshoot these lag issues. It turns out it was due to abusers of our custom skill system. Some idiots (who if I find I will ban) decided it would be a good idea to use an autoclicker than spoofs clicks/psec which caused MASSIVE lag by itself. So I disabled the entity_damage hook in and the lag was immediately gone. To fix this issue in the longterm, I'll be reworking how EXP gain works for combat so it is given on the entity's death rather than per damage as minecraft's hitbox is a buggy little s***. Sooo yea; things are looking up I suppose? We'll be doing a few more tests the rest of today. P.S. 10k forum members, WOOT? P.S.S. Those stupid vanilla death messages will be removed soon.
