A noticed is pinned on the top of the boards of all human settlements, it read the following

”The Long winter is here! The Dark clouds of blizzard that came from the Yatl wastelands is moving northward, covering everything in its path. As we have observed from the wastelands themselves, these clouds cover sunlight permanently and sub sequentially, the temperature drops considerably to way below freezing. It is recommended that people quickly get themselves some warm winter clothes and stash up on reserves of foods. Potatoes are recommended as they last the longest. If you live in a settlement that has experienced a recent bad harvest then i suggest you contact your local church administrative, they will surely be generous enough to feed you and your family. It is likely that this is some spell by the vile Vaeyl mages, worry not however. Our men are posing themselves ready to storm their last fortress, surely once done this spell shall be neutralized. Pray for them and all shalt be right.”
