[Fixed]Inventory wipe after /me & /menu command

**Description**
I’ve had my Inventory wiped/overwritten after exiting the /menu

**Date of occurance**
31.03.2019 6-7PM CEST

**In game specifications**
I tried to Change emote Colors, typed the command /me and Right after that /menu which were inputted at the same time due to a lag.

**Steps to Reproduce**
use /me & /menu at the same time.


**Expected Behavior**

/menu Shows up after /me, and would close and return to the normal inventory.


**Actual Behavior**

it would overwrite or wipe your inventory, or not restore the items from before accessing one of the commands.


**Additional Information**

Relogged Right after but the items were still lost.

**Error Message**
none

This bug exists and can be reproduced consistently.

Players with higher latency are more likely to experience it.

Players who are online when the server has a low TPS are more likely to experience it.

Your inventory is wiped every time you get the error message.

 

Steps:

1. Do /me

2. Do /menu before the inventory menu from /me pops up

 

Error message:

Prism failed to process your command, please try again or report this issue.

(I used a bug from the gates plugin to create latency so that I could send both commands in the same tick)

Yah this is an inherent vulnerability in how some of the Obelisk-powered menus on LotC work. There’s no real fix beyond transporting all menus to a system that doesn’t override the PlayerInventory space.

 

Have to backlog this for now.

We’ll make it so /menu is merged with the persona menu and that should prevent this from happening. This will be pushed with the Chat Update. Other obelisk menus might still have this problems though (notably the donation menu)
