Una would write on her scrap cloth, for Edyth to read. “No man is bad, or evil by nature. Everyone makes mistakes, by suffering the consequences of choices, and overcoming them a person will find redemption.” After that speech, Una would make sure Edyth is well fed, bathed and sent off to bed in a timely manner.
