The Origin of the Heilung (in German it means cure): Doctor Wilhelm Vogel invented the Heilung so he can treat the sick/hurt on the road. Dissembled a Hookah and made it smaller a more mobile version.

Description: The Heilung is mainly for healing The base chamber is made made of iron and surrounded by a leather that acts like a grip and you won’t get burned the chamber has a flint and steel (or something else that makes a spark) it’s triggered when you hold the Heilung and turn the steel and rub it against the flint to make a spark the spark burns an Herb. On the top of the base is a small vial containing water when the Herb burns it heats up the water and makes vapor. There is two tubes that is connected to the top of the vial and to the chamber where the Herb is located the two tubes are connected to a mouth piece at the end where someone would smoke. Instead of inhaling pure smoke you’ll also be inhaling vapor making it more easy to inhale. (the Minecraft item should be a firework)

Capabilities of the Heilung: The person who is healing the other holds the Heilung and flicks the steel (similar to a lighter) and it heats up the Herb and the water simultaneously, the person who is hurt or even the holder inhales from the tube connected via Heilung.

It technically can be used for war for war medics but it’s not its main purpose.

The limitations to the Heilung: it does run out of water and Herbs so make sure you have plenty of it for long periods of time.

The Purpose of the Heilung: . You don’t even need to be a doctor to use it, it’s similar to a hookah.

Here is a list of what some herbs can do:

Blissfoil: Numbing of pain, take it every 3 hours if the pain doesn’t stop. Stop imitatively if the numbing continues after 6 hours.

Boneset: For broken bones and minor injures take it every 6 hours.

Picote:  Warding off infections and fungal growth take daily to make it effective.

Night Sap: For Depression, Relaxation, And Need for Sleep. for depression take every 5 hours (little amount). For Relation just take a little amount whenever you want. For sleep take a moderate amount every 12 hours.

Serpents Stalk: For Fevers and Minor burns take every 3 hours.

Tippens Root: For bleeding take it to make intense bleeding stop for a short period of time after taking it make sure to have a bandage.
Frost Vine: For Stiff Muscles take it every 2 hours.

Javens: For Unconsciousness (great for surgery) take it and wait for patient to sleep. Time will last at least 5 hours.

It was overpowered and I wanted to add some other herbs.

Eternal Leaf has Regen II so it’ll heal the hurt person, no matter the wound.

I find this a bit overpowered, specially since that the post is from a trade post. If anything, eternal leaf should work more as a narcotic than anything else, which should somehow somewhat allow you to “resist” more pain.

During RP I saw a demonstration how it made a persons limb grew back, but if it’s over powered I’ll either tone it down a bit to minor wounds or just trash the idea in general. And like I said I couldn’t find anything about Eternal Leaf on the wiki and this was the closest thing to info I could find.

It’s okay man, you don’t need to trash the whole stuff, it looks creative to be honest, but the situation with the limb was powergaming and the person doing it maybe wasn’t aware of it. I’m sure eternal leaf can still be used as a potent narcotic for medicine, but healing to this point’s a bit too potent.

There are a couple of roleplay herbs you can roleplay as having them and using them on medicine, but nothing to the point of instant healing or limb regrowth... unless you have magic which is bs...

I did a quick seach on the wiki, here’s what I could find from looking over the top, these are ones that can have a healing potential or also be used on healing roleplay. Here’s a link if you want to check more: https://wikia.lordofthecraft.net/index.php?title=Flora
