RESPONSE TO THE PURITY TRIAL OF CAESTELLA VALARIETH:

To our blessed citizenry and elheial’thilln, my response to Rosilya’s accusations will be brief but I encourage you to read in full. Seeing as my endeavour is at an end, I have chosen to be sincere, and I fear it would be unwise to feign my innocence further.

I plead guilty to the following actionable wrongdoings:

-PERMISSIVE of impurities, in an effort to gain further information.

-STANDING WITNESS to the murder of two Mali’, one Mali’fenn and one Mali’aheral, both of which being vastly impure, Celia and Volodar. Though it benefitted the State, it should have been left to the Parir’tiran and Sillumiran

-EXPERIMENTING on demonic creatures in an effort to turn them normal to see if it could be applied to lessers.

-ALCOHOLISM to gain the trust of the liberals and ‘ata so they would tell me their secrets for the blessed diarchy.

I expected this, eventually. Over the preceding months, while I have performed diligently as an agent (yes, an agent) to our diarchy, I have lapsed. Probing our citizenry to exhume the festering liberalities pervading our Enclave made it necessary; though, I served with unwavering loyalty, sacrificing my own purity for greater protection of Haelun’or—quite like a Sillumir upon accepting the uniform. It would be hypocritical of me not to undergo reeducation myself to atone for the blatant liberalism I practiced.

Regardless, eliminating transgressions from our lands was of utmost precedence. Sacrifices in conscience were necessary and were made but have enlightened us to some of our greatest reprobates, one of which being the very woman who has accused me. Which leads me to add:

A CALL FOR THE TRIALLING OF ROSILYA LAE’RINSYR:

Rosilya Lae’ihnsyr, I call for a dual trial, where we may both address and can defend our infringements of hiylun. In your case: the PRACTICING of NAZTHERAK, SELF-MUTILATION in order to FALSIFY WOMANHOOD, and the attempt of IMPROPER FRATERNIZATION: out of wedlock, with children and with women.

The laws breached:

Niut | The Self-Mutilation Regulation: To ensure the purity of body of all citizens of the State, the mutilation of one’s body for reasons aesthetic is hereby banned. Medical licensing and governmental approval can be acquired by those with individual needs, but the harming of one’s own body through piercing and other means is, as is necessary for soundness of mind, to be rejected.

Banih | The Physical Fraternization Regulation: To ensure the safety of the mali’thill, and indeed of all blessed citizens, all those within the borders of the State will not find themselves engaged in physical fraternization outside of marriage, with a minor, publicly and in an intimate nature, non-consensually, homosexually, or incestuously. These, for the sound of mind, are simple, quintessential terms by which a fully functioning state and its peoples abide.

Vailu | The Common-Sense Regulation: Any action which, deemed by common sense among the mali’thill, is found to be improper and indicative of defects mental, and not explicitly stated herein, is still subject to investigation by governmental authorities and punishment according to degree of criminality.

While you have been unforgiving with your words, I only advise you to be charged with the following, in hopes INTENSE REHABILITATION is prioritised before branding or banishment:

Hael | The Third Tier, ata: The third minor infraction, or first major infraction, of the laws and regulations of the State will result in punishments that include all above practices, the branding or otherwise marking of one as mali’ata, the immediate annulment of any marriage with mali’thill counterparts, the enrollment of immediate and INTENSE REHABILITATION PROGRAMS, and banishment.

Naturally, I intend to see you recover through the guidance of the state, as Larihei would have willed, rather than destroyed with imprudent haste.

To contend, intelligence will be provided by man Brog Dhoon along with my own first-hand findings, documented with all my reports on the citizenry, and encourage others to stand forth. I would also endorse the same acquittal of banishment for Elrion if he were to provide evidence.

As a final note: I will voluntarily undertake the Path to Purity without a trial, justifiable in light of my actions. I will otherwise stand for the proposed dual trial if necessary, however.

maehr’sae hiylun’ehya, kaean'leh thilln chul'okarae

Okarir’tayna, Caestella Valarieth
