TO OUR BELOVED SUBJECTS,

It has pleased the Imperial Throne to reward the service of Our loyal subject, the Right Honorable William of the House of Alstion, with the titleage stripped of his ancestors by time and by one Canonius Horen. Accordingly, with this grace of God and the counsel of Our court, We do enfeoff WILLIAM ALSTION to the titular titles of KING IN AANEN, DUKE OF FREDERICA, and COUNT OF ALAMAR, FREDERICA, and THELEN, a role they and their legitimate issue by agnatic-cognatic primogeniture succession shall hold in perpetuity and free from the Imperial Will forthwith for their part in the restoration and safekeeping of Our Empire throughout the War of the Two Emperors and its aftermath. They are enjoined to help maintain the peace of Humanity, to abide peacefully by Our rule, and to rise to Humanity’s defense when necessary. In return, and as a sign of Our august graciousness, We do privilege their lineage to never see these titles stripped again from the august and glorious lineage of the Johannians.

He is in turn requested and expected not to intervene in the coming months in the reorganization of the Empire as We have so willed, and to be loyal to the cause of Humanity, as he has been since his arrival upon the shores of Arcas. He is furthermore both requested and expected not to press his claim to the Holy Orenian Empire, nor to attempt the foundation of any realm higher than a duchy for a duration of ten years, lest these titles be opened once more to removal from his lineage.
