with 1.8 clay is somewhat easier to find all you have to do is swim. With the new generator mojang has added you can find heaps of clay underwater

I really like the road with the redstone torches idea. Towers are something most of us have decided against doing in large amounts, simply because the Undead will find their way up there no matter what and use them to stage their attacks, spy, etc.

New Sanhar Concept (WIP)

There are plans for a new Merchant town come 1.9 that will hopefully be shared with the Elves. I've made a concept for the Krugmar-side entrance. It's basically a bigger version of the current Sanhar entrance. I've named the town New Sanhar, but who knows what it'll be called once it's made.

It also has a built in device for sacrificing.

The sacrifice stands here.

The lever is pulled, and down they go, their souls to be fed to our ancestors. :)

I absolutely CANNOT stress this enough; This town if it is approved will be built in-cooperation with Malinor. IT WILL NOT HAVE ANY SACRIFICIAL CHAMBERS. -._-. It will be as sort of a "face" town for other races to visit and it will be Krugmar's main source of goods and other economic things. (Iron, diamonds, arrows, food, et cetera. MOST of this will come from the merchant town; these are supplies needed for war, battles, raids, et cetera.) So it will be important that the town looks good to outsiders and doesn't maintain the same standard of living as the Capitol will, which will be MUCH different. In addition, only approved anti-hero Orcs should be sacrificing people for no known reason. >.> (Sorry if I sound irritable, its the 350+ applications.)

The main point of the city is to be Orcish and NOT Orcish at the same time. It won't be necessarily in the desert; it is more likely to be in a savannah or at the edge of a grassland/desert biome (considering it will be between Malinor and Krugmar). So it will most likely not be made out of pure sandstone.

: P Also please post your ideas on the idea-suggestion thread that is pinned at the top of the forum, so we don't have every single person posting a thread for suggestions.

I'm up for the savanna/desert edge "face" town idea. We need it to be a busy trade town that many notable merchants of all races travel in order to acquire wealth for the War Nation. The Trade section of the capital might just be a dimly lit Inn attacked to the slaughterhouse that the army stops by, gets some ale and meat before another pillage...i mean "trade event"

Everything a true Orc needs will be gotten through being a good grunt in da Army and helping da War Nation by following da Rex. (weapons and armor will be given out and repaired for free by smart goblin who wanna not get flatted of course...Orcs wishing to make a lot of shinies will want to be in the trade town.

I planned the town with two entrances, a Krugmar side one and a Malinor side one, each showing the two different architectures and cultures.

There is a river right behind the concept I made, and past that there is a forest. :)

It would be cool to build the city over the river, one side orcish the other one less orcish.
