Hub Page Guide

What is a hub page? A hub page is a thread that acts as the hub for multiple lore pieces that will be linked on it. For example, shamanism may have a hub page that includes a link to the Spirits, another for Elementalism, another for Witch Doctor, et cetera, so all Shamanism related lore pieces are in one page.

Hub pages are rather simple and don’t require much work, below is the basic structure you should follow (altering it is fine so long as things).

Hub Thread Structure

Hub Name - e.g. “Shamanism Hub Page”. Do not complicate it and make sure to have “Hub Page” in the name, so Story members know that it isn’t a different lore submission.

Hub Page Summary

The summary put in here should be a summarization of the hub page’s topic. So with the above example of Shamanism, you would have a brief summary of the Spirits and then a summary of shamans. Please remember that this will be one of the first things newer players see when looking for this lore, so try to make it informative without going overboard in regards to length.

Links

You should link each piece that you feel should be packaged under the current hub’s topic. Not all links need to be new submissions. For example, shamans might link a page for the Spirits which was already previously approved, along with links to the submissions for their magic rewrite. Another example would be someone submitting a new Aengudaemon magic. They can include a link to an existing Aengudaemon and then a link to their lore submission of the new magic proposal.

Each link should have a brief summary of what the link includes. So if you link a new CA race submission and a new magic submission, you should include a brief summary of what both of those are. This is because if your pieces are accepted, the hub page will be where folks can find them.
